PURPOSE:To prevent shortening of service life or generation of abnormal noise due to adhesion of lubricant to a commutator by fixing an oil retaining member and an oil-free member around an oil retaining bearing held by a motor cover while opposing the commutator thereby restraining the lubricant, drained out of the bearing, from scattering outward. CONSTITUTION:One of two bearings for supporting a rotor 9 is covered, on the outer peripheral part thereof, with an oil retaining felt 2 and an oil-free felt 5. Consequently, the lubricant drained from the outer peripheral part of the first bearing 1 during rotation of a shaft 3 is entirely absorbed by the oil- free felt 5. Consequently, the lubricant drained out of the bearing is restrained from scattering outward and thereby shortening of service life and generation of abnormal noise due to adhesion of lubricant to a commutator can be prevented.
