In such a connecting portion of the pipeline air cable, if a duct or spatter generated during welding of the sheath tubes 1A and 1B enters the sheath tubes 1A and 1B, the insulation characteristics of the pipeline air cable will be improved. Remarkably deteriorate. The annular sealing material 3 is provided to prevent such dust from entering the sheath tube.

However, when the annular seal material is provided as described above, the air trapped in the gap between the welded portion 2 and the annular seal material 3 thermally expands at the time when the welding is completed after one round, and the welding position Phenomenon that spouts from the outside occurs.
The occurrence of such a phenomenon is a problem because it hinders smooth welding.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and a tube formed by interposing an annular seal material between the inner and outer tubes axially separated from the welding position of the sheath tube. At the sheath pipe connecting portion of the air-in-air cable, the annular seal member is hollow, and the side walls of the hollow annular seal member that are not in contact with the inner and outer pipes have different circumferential positions of the annular seal member. It is characterized in that a vent hole is formed.

The annular sealing material is made of elastic rubber or plastic. The cross-sectional shape of the annular sealing material is preferably a triangular shape having the inner peripheral surface side of the ring as the base, as shown in the following examples, but is not limited to this.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the sheath tube connecting portion of the present invention. At this connecting portion, the other sheath tube 1B is inserted into the expanded end portion of the one sheath tube 1A, and welding is performed to weld the welded portion 2 with the annular sealing material 6 interposed therebetween. Although the formed point is the same as the conventional one, this annular sealing material 6 is hollow, and vent holes 7a and 7b (7b are not shown) are formed in the left and right side walls which are not in contact with the sheath tubes 1A and 1B, respectively. ) Is different from the conventional one. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 3, the annular seal member 6 has a vent hole 7a formed on one side wall and a vent hole 7b formed on the back side wall thereof.
The position in the circumferential direction is different.

With the above-described configuration, the air existing between the welded portion 2 and the annular seal material 3 at the time of completion of welding can be transferred from the ventilation hole 7a to the internal space of the annular seal material 6 if the pressure rises due to thermal expansion. After entering and moving through it in the circumferential direction, it comes to escape into the sheath tube 1A from the ventilation hole 7b on the opposite side.
Therefore, the air between the welded portion 2 and the annular sealing material 3 does not blow out from the welding position to the outside, and the welding can be smoothly performed until the end. Also with the vent 7a
Since 7b is formed by shifting the position in the circumferential direction, the air between the weld and the annular sealing material does not flow directly into the sheath tube, and dust and spatter generated by welding can be prevented from scattering into the sheath tube. .

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention. This continuous portion is a type in which the ends of the sheath tubes 1A and 1B are butted against each other, and the welded portion 2 is formed with the inner tube 8 arranged inside thereof.
The hollow annular seal material 6 as described above is interposed between 1A and the inner tube 8 and between the sheath tube 1B and the inner tube 8.

As described above, according to the present invention, a hollow tube is provided between the inner and outer tubes axially separated from the welding position of the sheath tube,
Since the annular seal material with the vent holes formed so that the circumferential positions are different on both side walls is interposed, the air between the weld and the annular seal material is not vented even if it thermally expands at the end of welding. -Internal space of annular seal material-Escapes into the sheath tube through the path of the vent hole, and therefore does not eject from the welding position. Moreover, since the path is bent, there is no possibility that dust generated by welding will be carried by the air flow and enter the sheath tube. Therefore, there is an advantage that a smooth welding work can be performed to the end and a pipeline air cable having excellent insulating characteristics can be configured.
