By the way, in order to increase the etching rate when performing wet etching, it was necessary to stir the etchant so as to constantly supply a new etchant to the etching surface of the object to be etched. Such an etching apparatus is shown in FIG. In the figure, (1) is a container made of Teflon (registered trademark of DuPont) resin for containing the etchant (2), and (3) is a bubbler serving as bubble discharging means provided in the entire bottom of the container (1). A large number of through holes (4) (4) ... Are provided at a rate of about 500 pieces / cm 2 on the upper surface of the bubbler (3). Reference numeral (5) is a pipe connected to the bubbler (3), and N 2 is a bubble source in the bubbler (3).

The glass plate (7) is held on the second plate-like body (11) at an angle of 45 ° so that the wafer (6) faces downward, and the glass plate (7) is dipped in the etchant to form the bubble (3) from the pipe (5). The etching is started by sending N 2 gas. N 2 holes of bubbler (3) by the supply of gas (4) (4) ... bubbles N 2 gas is issued from. The bubbles hit the back surface of the first plate-like body (8), are finely decomposed, and are supplied to the second plate-like body (11) through the holes (10) (10). Further, the bubbles collide with the back surface of the second plate-like body (11) and are decomposed into fine bubbles, and the wafer (6) passes through the holes (13) (13) of the second plate-like body (11).
