Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in arranging parts and to make it possible to miniaturize a camera by inwardly bending a notch formed on the peripheral part of a sand control ring for preventing a foreign matter from entering the inside of a lens barrel along the sand control ring. CONSTITUTION:The sand control ring 1 for preventing the sand, dust, etc., from entering the inside of the lens barrel is formed to a nearly cylindrical shape, the notch is formed on a part of the cylindrical end part, and the part is bent toward the inner peripheral side so as to form a bent part 1a and it is inserted while being engaged with the outer peripheral part of a photographic lens group holder 3.
