は、多孔ドラムと多孔ドラムの内側に設けられたダンパ
ードラムとの間の間隙の清掃を目的としている。然しな
がら落綿処理装置において最も問題となるのは落綿中に
含まれる果糖でこれが多孔ドラムの内周面に付着する
と、糖分の粘度により落綿の付着を助長し、これが次第
に成長して目づまりを起すばかりでなく、時間の経過に
よって固化して除去が極めて困難となり、所期の目的を
達し得ないことになる。

される。而して本願の清掃部材9は上記したように、多
孔ドラム1の内周面1aに摺接するとともに適度の弾性を
有するので、毛玉8aの上流側から下流側への移行は円滑
に行なわれ途中に停滞することがない。又落綿の処理は
各ヘッド毎に処理装置を設けるものと、機台端部で一括
処理する方式の二つが採用されているが、方式の違いに
より本願の実施が左右されるものではない。

落綿を吸引気流によって吸引して除去でき、清掃部材の
保守管理を簡単にでき、しかも構成が簡易で少ない費用
で実施できる。
