Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity by printing and pressure-welding the peripheral part surface of a synthetic leather material on a leather-covered ball such as basket ball or hand ball by a high frequency printer to constitute a leather piece having a pattern partitioning line, and bonding and fixing the leather piece to a ball body. A pattern partitioning line is printed on the peripheral part of the leather piece 8 by use of a foil 14 by a marking 14 by the lowering motion of an upper electrode 12. 処理を行う際、凹条溝へのゴム材料の充填が不足する
と、凸条リブ2に欠けや傷等の不良を発生する恐れがあ
った。皮革片1の縁削ぎ作業は手作業によるため、生産
性が低く、又ウレタン表層まで誤って削ぎ取り、不良品
となることもあった。革貼り作業も手作業によるため生
産性が低く、個人差による品質のバラツキも発生してい
た。これらの問題点は全て球状本体に凸条リブを形成す
ることから生じていることがわかる。そこで、本発明の
目的は、これらの課題を解決するようにした球技用ボー
ルの製造方法を提供することにある。

革片8は合成皮革材であって、不織布よりなる基部とウ
レタン等からなる表皮部とで構成され、所定のパターン
に裁断されている。本発明による球技用ボールの製造に
は、上部電極12と下部電極13及びこれら電極間に入
ったり出たりするように装置された箔15から構成され
る高周波印刷機16が用いられる。上部電極12には刻
印14が取付けられ、この刻印は、所定のパターンに裁
断された皮革片8の周縁部分に区画を割りつけるパター
ン区分線を印刷する形状をなしている。

割された皮貼り成型金型を有し、該金型にはその各半球
状内面に多数の微小孔が穿設されている。微小孔から空
気を吸引することによって、成型金型内面の所定位置に
皮革片8を吸着し整置する。球状本体11を金型内へ投
入し、金型半球部分を重ね合わせてその中の球状本体1
1内部へ圧縮空気(例えば、9kg/cm2 )を充填する。
