Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a coil having an improved space factor and satisfactory characteristics by a method wherein restricting plates which are made to penetrate into gaps between teeth are provided on both the sides of a winding guide in the longitudinal direction of the teeth and the winding guide is transferred in accordance with the winding state. CONSTITUTION:When a coil 4 is wound, a winding guide 5 is transferred to a position near teeth 2a and 2b by a transfer means 8. Restricting plates 7 are made to penetrate into gaps 3 outside the teeth 2a and 2b and, at the same time, restricting protruding stripes 6a are inserted into both the end parts of the teeth 2a and 2b. In this state, a coil wire 10 paid off from a supply nozzle 9 is slid along the slant guide plane 5a of the winding guide 5 and made to pass outside the restricting plates 7 and guided into the gaps 3 outside the teeth 2a and 2b and wound on the parts of the teeth 2a and 2b near the roots of the teeth. 線ガイドを巻線状態に応じて移動させる手段を設けたこ
とを特徴とする巻線装置。
