2. Description of the Related Art Currently, surfins are popular and practiced by many people as a maritime sport, and various types of surfboards have been made as tools used for this surfin. A surfboard is generally formed by curved and straight parts to balance speed and rotation, but its body is usually molded from plastic foam and its surface is covered with reinforced plastic such as glass fiber. The surfboard body is protected from scratches and the fading of patterns is prevented by covering it with a protective film made of aluminum vapor-deposited polyester film, which is highly absorbent of ultraviolet rays. Next, a method for manufacturing the above surfboard will be described. The surfboard body (1) has a relatively simple shape and is easily molded by in-mold foam molding by the bead method. Then, based on the board body (1) molded as described above, the stretchable sheet-like material (5) is adhered to one or both sides of the board body (1). It is preferable to hold the stopper). This is housed in the upper and lower molds (6) and (7) used for hot press molding as shown in FIG. It can be obtained by molding and integrating both.

The mold used in the heat molding may be a mold used for molding the board body, and the heating temperature is not lower than the melting point of the foamed molded product obtained by the in-mold foam molding but lower than the melting point of the sheet material. However, it is usually about 110 ° C. to 200 ° C., though it is not necessarily constant depending on the type of foamed molded product and the type of sheet material. As a result, the surface cells of the foamed molded article are broken and melted, which gives a strong adhesion to the stretchable sheet.

Since the sheet-like material (5) has extensibility, it is stretched in a tension state in conformity with the shape of the foamed molded product during hot press molding, and the board body made of the foamed molded product does not cause wrinkles. Be attached to. In particular, a woven or knitted woven fabric in the form of a tube or bag together with polyester yarn, etc., including spandex yarns having extensibility, is simply woven and woven by covering the board body with hot press molding. You can get a surfboard attached, which is a great advantage. Further, although the above description is for the case of hot press molding, if an adhesive is applied to either or both of the main body of the pod and the sheet-like material, both can be integrated by room temperature press molding.

Moreover, in these cases, the tubular or bag-shaped fiber cloth having extensibility is appropriately selected in accordance with the size of the surfboard body to be covered, and is formed by heating press molding at once. And can be commercialized without trimming. This hot press molding and commercialization by a single operation of covering the fiber cloth are also extremely effective when used for commercializing similar adhered products. Especially effective.

As described above, according to the present invention, the outer surface of the surfboard body is coated with a sheet-like material such as a stretchable fiber cloth, and the appearance is more beautiful than that of the conventional resin or film-coated one. In addition, it is rich in luxury and has a good feel to the touch, and a sufficient reinforcing effect can be expected. Moreover, since the sheet-shaped material such as the adhered fiber cloth has extensibility, it can be adhered in a stretched state without forming wrinkles on the outer surface, and a smooth surface can be formed. Together, we can provide a variety of surfboards.

On the other hand, the surfboard manufacturing method of the present invention enables the surfboard as described above to be prepared at once by using the molding die of the board body as it is and utilizing heat or cold press molding. Since it is a sheet-shaped object or a tubular or bag-shaped knitted woven fabric, it adapts well to the outer shape of the surfboard during press molding, and it is easy to apply the sheet-shaped object to various shapes without forming wrinkles without trimming. Can be formed. In particular, in the case of a stretch fabric woven or woven into a tubular or bag shape, it is possible to easily obtain the desired surfboard simply by covering it on the outer surface of the formed surfboard main body and performing hot press molding, and also to remove excess burr. Since it does not occur and does not require time and effort for trimming, it has excellent production efficiency and is an extremely epoch-making method for manufacturing various surfboards.
