[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial field of application) The present invention relates to a joint portion of a dryer canvas for papermaking. Specifically, the contact pressure of the joint portion is the same as that of the canvas body, and troubles due to the weft yarn at the end portion of the joint portion occur. It is related to fittings that do not have to worry.

(Prior Art) Dryer canvas for papermaking is usually made of endless fabric,
Joint portions are provided at both ends thereof, and the joint portions are joined together at the time of use to form an endless shape. In particular, for dryer canvases used for high-quality paper such as printing paper and hybrid paper, loop joints that do not worry about quality problems such as joint marks and dry spots are commonly used for wet paper. This loop joint is, for example,
As described in Japanese Patent No. 63-19600, after removing the wefts at the end of the canvas body and loosening the warp into tufts, the joint processing machine in which the wefts are prepared is equipped with both ends of the canvas and tufted. A loop for joining and a binding yarn of the front weft are formed by the loosened extended warp and folded back, and the joint end is woven. Therefore, the warp threads, the weft threads, and the warp density constituting the end portion of the joint are designed to be the same as those of the canvas body. The loop joint produced in this way is often used as the most suitable joint for papermaking such as general high-quality paper.

(Problems to be solved by the device) This loop joint part has the same surface property and air permeability as the canvas body, and therefore quality troubles such as joint marks and dry spots in the wet paper drying process are caused. Although it does not occur, the formation of the joint end is formed by weaving the extended warp loosened in tufts and the removed weft with the joint processing machine by removing the weft at the end of the canvas body as described above. The texture points of the extended warp and the end weft at the end of the joint do not have the exact same structure as that of the canvas body, and a minute gap is created. It tends to be thick.
The joint end is formed by weaving with a joint processing machine, but the processing tension and weft striking force of the joint processing machine are weaker than those of a normal canvas loom, and therefore the extended warp and weft of the formed joint end are Organizational strength is weaker than that of the canvas itself.

Loop joints that have such potential structural weaknesses
Although no problem occurs in general high-quality papermaking, in the case of special papermaking such as thin paper, the contact pressure to the wet paper at the joint end was slightly increased and dry spots might occur on the wet paper. . Further, in the case of a paper machine having a small canvas roll diameter and a paper machine in which the skew of the canvas is likely to occur, a so-called weft removal phenomenon sometimes occurs in which the weft at the joint end moves in the width direction.

This invention solves the above-mentioned problems latent in the conventional loop joint, and the contact pressure of the joint end to the wet paper is the same as the canvas body, and there is no weft pull-out phenomenon at the joint end. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a joint portion of a dryer canvas for papermaking, which does not cause dry spots on the wet paper and causes operational troubles of the papermaking machine.

(Means for Solving Problems) In order to achieve this object, the present invention has the following configuration. That is, a loop for joining and a binding thread for the tip weft are formed by an extended warp obtained by removing the weft at the end of the canvas body, and the extended warp is folded back and woven with a new weft to form a joint end. In the joint portion, the new weft thread that constructs the joint end portion is made of a filament coated with a resin having high elasticity, and is a joint portion of a dryer canvas for papermaking.

(Operation) As described above, since the filament of the new weft yarn at the joint end portion of the joint portion of the dryer canvas according to the present invention is coated with resin having high elasticity, the joint weaved by the joint processing machine is used. The texture points of the extended warp and the new weft at the end are tightly pressed by the processing tension and weft striking force at the time of weaving, and the surface of the new weft is pressed by the extended warp and deformed to form a concave groove. It is formed and flattened, suppressing the increase in thickness. In addition, the tissue forces of the extended warp and the new weft are firmly fixed.

(Effect of the device) Since the new weft yarn at the joint end portion of the joint portion of the dryer canvas according to the present invention is a filament coated with a resin having high elasticity, the design point of the extended warp yarn and the new weft yarn is used. Is fixed by flattening the weft thread, and therefore the thickness of the joint end is the same as the canvas body, so the contact pressure of the joint with the wet paper is also the same as the canvas body and no joint marks such as dry spots occur. . In addition, there is no fear of running trouble of the paper machine due to the occurrence of weft loss at the joint end.
