lCl3 を含有する酸性水溶液で加水分解すればよく、

スペンジョンに下地層を形成したC/C複合材を浸漬
し、15分間減圧しながら含浸した。ついで、風乾後、

乾および乾燥処理を3回繰り返し、100℃の温度で乾
燥して微粒子状SiO2 被膜の中間層を形成した。中間
層の形成膜厚さは、5μm であった。

/C複合材を浸漬して15分間減圧含浸し、風乾後、1
00℃の温度で乾燥した。引き続きB(OC4 9)3
液に浸漬して15分間減圧含浸を施し、1昼夜風乾して
空気中の水分により加水分解をおこない、100℃の温
度で乾燥した。乾燥処理後のC/C複合材を電気炉に移
し、800℃で60分間加熱して表面にSiO2 −B2
3 系のガラス質被膜を形成した。形成した耐熱ガラス
質被膜の厚さは3μm であった。

って、この被覆層を備えるC/C複合材は、高温酸化雰
囲気の過酷な条件に晒される構造部材用途に適用して安
定性能の確保、耐久寿命の延長化などの効果がもたらさ
れる。
