Claims (4)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 導光板の周縁部表裏面を一対の枠状のフ
レームにて、導光板の端面との間に所定のクリアランス
が形成されるように挾持したエッジライト形バックライ
トユニットにおいて、 一対のフレームの少なくとも一方と導光板の周縁部との
間に、導光板とフレームに接着固定される弾性乃至柔軟
性を有する結着部材を介在させたことを特徴とするエッ
ジライト形バックライトユニット。
1. An edge light type backlight unit in which front and rear edges of a light guide plate are sandwiched by a pair of frame-shaped frames so that a predetermined clearance is formed between the light guide plate and an end surface of the light guide plate. An edge light type backlight unit, characterized in that an elastic or flexible binding member that is adhesively fixed to the light guide plate and the frame is interposed between at least one of the frames and the peripheral portion of the light guide plate.
【請求項2】 結着部材が、弾性乃至柔軟性を有するテ
ープ基材の両面に接着剤を塗布した両面接着テープであ
ることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエッジライト形バッ

トユニットにおいて、 一対のフレームの少なくとも一方と導光板の周縁部との
間に、クッション材と接着剤を有する結着部材とを介在
させたことを特徴とするエッジライト形バックライトユ
ニット。

An edge light type backlight unit in which front and rear edges of a light guide plate are sandwiched by a pair of frame-shaped frames so that a predetermined clearance is formed between the light guide plate and an end face of the light guide plate. An edge light type backlight unit, characterized in that a cushioning material and a binding member having an adhesive are interposed between at least one of the frames and the peripheral portion of the light guide plate.
