Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a hot bathing water purifying device capable of property detecting a water shortage in a hot water circulation passage and ensuring safety without any malfunction. CONSTITUTION:A float switch 22 comprising a float made afloat on water in a sealed tank such as a filtration tank 11 laid in a bathing water circulation passage, is provided as a liquid level detecting device. Also, an operation control device 18 makes judgement about a water shortage on the basis of a result detected with the device. The result of the judgement is, then, shown on a display device 26, and concurrently the operation of a circulating pump 12 or a heater 13 is stopped. As a result, the liquid level of the tank can directly be detected and a water shortage, if any, can quickly be detected properly without any malfunction. Also, a contaminant adhering to the liquid level detecting device can easily be removed by opening the cover of the device.

In such a bath water purifying apparatus, for example, the bath water in the bathtub may be drained, or air may be sucked into the pipeline due to the damage of the apparatus or the like, and the water absorption capacity of the circulation pump may be reduced. There may be a so-called water shortage condition in which the bath water stops flowing in the descending circulation path.

When a water shortage occurs in the circulation path, naturally, the circulation pump runs dry and breaks, and there is a risk that the heater for heating may be dry-burned to damage the device or even cause a fire. .

Conventionally, as an abnormality detecting device for preventing the above-mentioned accident due to water shortage, a float switch attached to a circulation pipe of a circulation path as shown in FIG. 6 is used to bath water in the circulation path. A water flow sensor was installed to directly detect changes in flow rate.

This water flow sensor has a cylindrical case 1 to which a horizontal water inlet 2 and a vertical water outlet 3 are attached.
The float switch 4 is mounted vertically in the inside of the float switch 4. The float switch 4 has a magnet 8 and a float 8 with a magnet 9 mounted on a shaft 7 extending from a lead switch 5 from which two signal lines 6 extend. The lead switch is fitted in a vertically movable manner while being pushed in the direction of 5.

In such a water flow sensor, the bath water passes through the water inlet 2 and the float switch 4 is attached to the case 1
It goes in and goes out through the water outlet 3, but when a large amount of bath water is flowing, the float 8 pushes the bath water downwards more strongly than the spring 9 pushes it upwards. Therefore, the float switch 4 is in the ON state because it is lowered and the lead switch 5 is not pushed.

On the other hand, when the water becomes insufficient, the float 8
Since the pushing force of the bath water is weakened or disappears at all, it is pushed upward by the spring 9 to push the reed switch 5, the float switch 4 is turned off, and this is transmitted to the control device through the signal line 6. Water shortage is detected, and the equipment is automatically stopped for safety.

However, in the case of water shortage detection using a water flow sensor provided in a conventional bath water circulation path, the water flow sensor is directly attached to the bath water circulation pipe. However, there is a defect that the water flow sensor may become dirty or get caught by a foreign object due to long-term operation and malfunction, and it is also difficult to remove the dirt attached to this sensor.

For this reason, the spring 9 of the water flow sensor 4 should be made strong so that it will not turn off when the amount of water has decreased a little as in the case of clogging of the filtration device, but rather the amount of water will be rather large as in the case of a water shortage condition. It is designed to be turned off only when the number decreases.

However, since the water flow sensor cannot adjust the spring pressure with high accuracy, it is difficult to identify whether the water flow sensor is turned off due to clogging of the filter or turned off due to lack of water. Since it is operated, there is also a drawback that even if the filter device is clogged to some extent, it is judged to be abnormal and the operation of the device is stopped.

That is, according to the present invention, the bath water is forcibly circulated by a circulation pump, and in the circulation path, dirt is filtered in a filtration tank, heat is maintained by a heater, and sterilization is performed by ozone. In the bath water purifying device, a water level detection device is provided in a closed tank provided in the circulation path in order to detect that the flow of the bath water in the circulation path has stopped and a water shortage has occurred. The bath water cleaning device is a bath water cleaning device in which the water level detection device is a float switch in which a float is floated on the water surface in the tank.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and the lack of water is detected by detecting the water level in the closed tank. Since the water level in the tank does not change due to the clogging of the filter medium, the conventional flow rate of bath water is used for detection. There is no confusion with the clogging of the filter media as it does when.

Further, the float switch for detecting the water level in the closed tank detects the water level in the tank by directly floating the float on the water surface of the closed tank and moving it up and down according to the water level. It is difficult for dirt to attach, and the dirt can be easily removed by opening the lid of the closed tank. Therefore, malfunction does not easily occur due to dirt.

Further, since a large amount of bath water is stored in the tank to give a large buoyancy, the float of the float switch can be made larger and heavier than the conventional one, whereby dirt is attached to the movement of the float. Since the influence of is reduced, the water shortage can be accurately detected.

By the way, if a large amount of air enters the circulation passage of the bath water due to some abnormality such as the drainage of the bath water from the bathtub 15, damage to the device, or poor sealing, the circulation pump 12 Loses its function as a pump and the bath water does not circulate, resulting in a water shortage.

The apparatus basically constructed as described above will be further described with reference to the piping diagram of FIG.

The upper opening of the filtration tank 11 is closed by a detachable lid 29, and as will be described later in detail, the lid switch 29 has a float switch 22 as a water level detecting device for detecting water shortage at the water level in the tank. Is attached.

Reference numeral 30 denotes a filter medium tank. The filter medium tank 30 is loaded with granular filter medium 32 such as activated carbon or activated stone packed in a filter medium bucket 31 to adsorb and activate small dirt in the bath water at the same time. It is also treated according to the ability of the filter medium, such as chemical conversion.

The operation of the float switch 22 thus attached to the filtration tank 11 will be described with reference to FIG. 4. When the apparatus has no abnormality, the state shown in FIG. On the other hand, when the water becomes insufficient, the state shown in FIG. 7A is reached, and the water level of the filtration tank 11 is lowered and the float 34 is located at the lower side, so that the magnet switch 35 is cut off and the water is insufficient. When the filter 27 is clogged with a lot of dirt, the flow rate of the bath water is reduced but the water level of the filtration tank 11 does not change. Therefore, the position of the float 34 does not change and the clogging of the filter 27 is erroneously determined to be insufficient. Not detected.

The water level of the filtration tank 11 may be indirectly detected by the water level of a water level detection pipe attached to the side of the tank, but in this case, the detection pipe is clogged with dirt and the detection tends to be inaccurate. It is preferable to directly detect the water level in the tank with the float 34 floating on the water surface like the float switch 22 of this embodiment.

Further, even if dirt is attached to the float switch 22, it can be easily cleaned by removing the dirt by opening the lid 29 of the filtration tank 11, so that it can be operated accurately at any time. Float 3 has a large amount of bath water and can be given a large buoyancy.
It is preferable to make 4 large and heavy so that it is not easily affected by the adhesion of dirt.

That is, the force x when the buoyancy is related to the upward movement and the force y when the gravity is related to the downward movement are such that the float 34 is larger and heavier in the case of FIG. Both larger than x and y in the case of small and light (a),
Therefore, when the float 34 is large and heavy, even if it is slightly soiled, it will not be affected by the vertical movement.
