Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform cleaning process after process using water without fats and oils and a solvent by making a polishing flaw produced on the surface of a roll to be processed by lapping powder saw-toothed in the circumferential direction of the roll to be processed, so that the polarity of a polishing flaw is preferable both to doctor and ink flow. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like non-woven fabric F taken out from a raw cloth roll G is made to adhere closely to a lapping head 9 in the circumferential direction of a roll R to be processed and passed through a space up to the roll R to be processed, and the non-woven fabric F is taken up on the opposite side to ensure tension. Rotation is applied to the roll R to be processed, the lapping head 9 is elastically pressed to the roll R to be processed, and moved with the non-woven fabric F along the roll R to be processed while giving small vibration along the roll R to be processed to supply suspended water of lapping powder to a part where the roll R to be processed and the non-woven fabric F come into dynamic contact with each other.

2. Description of the Related Art Among the mirror polishing methods, the lapping method using abrasive grains is generally performed on a flat surface and is rarely performed on a roll. The buffing method is widely used for the mirror polishing of the plate-making roll, and there is no example where the lapping method is used. The lapping method performed on a flat surface is, for example, molten iron taken out from the blast furnace in order to analyze and identify the content ratio and the structural structure of the amount of elements such as ferromanganese and ferrosilicon in the molten iron in the blast furnace. It is applied after cutting the cooled sample chip into a flat surface and then grinding it with a grindstone. The content is that the lapping liquid is applied to the surface to be processed and the lapping head is pressed against the surface, and the surface of the lapping head against the surface is processed. While giving a circular motion or a linear motion along the surface, the surface to be processed is subjected to a linear motion or a circular motion to create a polishing motion in which the directionality of polishing is complex and not constant, and the flat surface is mirror-polished. Is a composition that uses fine wrapping powder to gradually finish to a precise mirror surface.

According to the buffing method which is performed on the plate-making roll, polishing marks which are oriented in the circumferential direction are formed on the surface of the plate-making roll. The abrasion marks are deeply formed, and are undesired because they cause ink to flow out from the cells remaining in a state where the screen line is deeply divided. Further, according to the buffing method, since fats and oils and solvents are used, post-treatment of removing the fats and oils and solvents from the surface of the plate-making roll and cleaning the surface to an active state is a very troublesome work. Furthermore, according to the buff polishing method, the softness of the waist of the buff and the wire diameter of the buff fiber are limited, and the selection of the buff is limited to those coarser than the needs.
There is a limit to making the polishing marks on the surface of the plate-making roll finer. Therefore, if the lapping method performed on the conventional flat surface can be applied to the mirror polishing of the plate-making roll, the finer the lapping powder, the finer the polishing marks, and the oil and fat, It is also preferable in that no solvent is used. As an application of such a lapping method, specifically, while rotating the plate-making roll, a lapping head having a cylindrical end face as an adhesive surface and a wrapping paper that is replaceably attached is pressed against the plate-making roll. It is expected that the suspension water of the lapping powder is supplied to the lapping head so that the lapping head moves along the plate-making roll while revolving (circular movement along the roll surface of the plate-making roll) and rotating. However, in the lapping method, as in the buffing method, polishing marks are provided on the surface of the plate-making roll in the circumferential direction. In addition, this wrapping method is troublesome in that it is necessary to replace the wrapping paper attached to the wrapping head every time one plate-making roll is processed.

The present invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned points. The lapping powder gives a polishing mark on the surface of the plate-making roll in a saw-tooth shape in the circumferential direction of the plate-making roll, which is more than that of buffing. It is extremely shallow and the direction of the abrasion marks is preferable from both the contact sliding direction of the doctor and the direction of ink flow from the cell, and the cleaning treatment after treatment is sufficient without washing with oils and solvents. The purpose is to provide a wrapping method.

The present invention is directed to an original roll G
The strip-shaped non-woven fabric F fed out from the plate is passed between the plate-making roll R which is chucked and rotated in close contact with the lapping head 9 which is reciprocally movable in the direction along the plate-making roll from the circumferential direction of the plate-making roll R. The tension is secured by winding the nonwoven fabric F on the opposite side, and the lapping head 9 is elastically pressed against the plate making roll R to give rotation to the plate making roll R, while the lapping head 9 vibrates the motor rotation. By giving a minute vibration along the plate making roll R as a source, a minute vibration is also given to the non-woven fabric F adhered to the lapping head 9, and the suspension water of the lapping powder is applied to a position where the plate making roll R and the non-woven fabric F are in dynamic contact. Of the non-woven fabric F is supplied to carry out mirror polishing with the lapping powder and the mirror polishing position is moved along the plate-making roll R to polish the entire roll. There is provided a wrapping method of the plate-making roll characterized by Rukoto.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the plate-making roll lapping method of the present invention will be briefly described through a description of a plate-making roll lapping apparatus adopting the plate-making roll lapping method of the present invention shown in the drawings. This method for lapping a plate-making roll is such that the plate-making roll R is provided on the upper part of the apparatus by a drive-side roll chuck 2 rotated by a first motor 1 and an anti-drive-side roll chuck (not shown) by an air cylinder (not shown). Chuck both ends and
r. p. At m, the lapping head 9 is rotated from top to bottom. The position of the roll chuck on the non-driving side can be adjusted by a second motor (not shown), and the chuck interval can be adjusted according to the length of the plate-making roll R. Below the plate-making roll R, on the one-dimensional table 28 reciprocated along the plate-making roll R by being guided by the third motor 3 to the rail 29 through the winding and pulling device 4. In addition, the table 7 which is rotated by the fourth motor 5 to move the ball screw 6 toward and away from the plate-making roll R is a two-dimensional table.
A bracket 8 for mounting mirror polishing means is erected on the two-dimensional table 7, and the bracket 8 has a thick plate 9a made of plastic such as DURACON (trademark) on the contact surface side as the mirror polishing means. A wrapping head 9 to which is attached, a fifth motor 10, and a raw fabric roll shaft formed by winding a belt-shaped non-woven fabric F and capable of freely rotating while supporting a raw fabric roll G.
11 and a brake device that applies a proper amount of braking to the original roll shaft 11 to suppress the unwinding of the nonwoven fabric from the original roll G.
12 and the cooperation of the sixth motor 13 and the pulse generation sensor 14 every time one plate-making roll R is processed with a given size of the non-woven fabric F fed so as to come into close contact with the smooth surface on the contact side of the lapping head 9. And a non-woven fabric take-up shaft 15 adapted to be taken up. Then, the mirror polishing means is a support rod attached to the back surface of the lapping head 9.
16 is inserted into a small hole of a slider 18 which is guided by a lateral guide 17 so as to be capable of minute reciprocating movements in a direction along the plate-making roll R, and the supporting rod 16 is spring-formed in a radial direction of the plate-making roll R. By elastically holding the lapping head 9, the lapping head 9 can be slightly reciprocated in the direction along the plate-making roll R and is elastically held in the radial direction of the plate-making roll R. Then, the eccentric shaft 20 is connected to the output shaft of the fifth motor 10 to convert the rotation of the fifth motor 10 into eccentric rotation, and the eccentric shaft 20 is further provided in the slider 18. By fitting into the shaft hole and converting the eccentric rotation of the eccentric shaft 20 into minute vibration of the slider 18, the lapping head 9 is applied to the plate making roll R so that the plate making roll R is not vibrated at all. It is designed to be able to give minute vibrations along it.

Then, the fourth motor 5 is driven to bring the two-dimensional table 7 closer to the plate-making roll, so that the lapping head 9 has a required pressure on the plate-making roll R so as to have a required pressure. When elastically pressed by the urging force of 19, the gap sensor 24 detects the state, the two-dimensional table 7 stops approaching movement, and is fed from the original roll G to wrap from the upstream side of the plate roll R in the circumferential direction. The non-woven fabric F, which is in tight contact with the head 9 and is wound around the non-woven fabric winding shaft 15 on the opposite side, is pressed against the plate-making roll R.
Subsequently, the first motor 1 is driven to rotate the plate-making roll R, while the fifth motor 10 is driven to cause the lapping head 9 to have a vibration stroke of about 3 to 4 mm along the plate-making roll R. The microvibration is applied so as to have a frequency of 2000 to 7,000 times per minute, and the non-woven fabric F is also adhered to the wrapping head 9 so that the microvibration is applied. Then, the pump 21 is driven and suspended water of lapping powder having a particle size of several microns, preferably 2 to 4 microns in the tank 22 attached to the two-dimensional table 7 is passed through the pipe 23 to the plate making roll R and the nonwoven fabric. The lapping powder, which is constantly supplied to a portion where F and F are in dynamic contact with each other and held in the texture of the nonwoven fabric F, rubs the plate-making roll R to start mirror polishing. Then, the third motor 3 is driven to move the two-dimensional table 7 along the plate-making roll R, and mirror polishing is performed over the entire length of the plate-making roll R. The suspended water is received by the upper tray 25, flows down from the pipe 26, flows into the lower tray 27, and is collected. When the wrapping of the plate-making roll R is completed, the sixth motor 13 is driven and the nonwoven fabric winding shaft 15 winds the nonwoven fabric F. At this time,
When the pulse generation sensor 14 counts a constant signal, the sixth motor 13 stops driving, and the nonwoven fabric F is wound up by the vertical width of the lapping head 9, for example, 100 mm.

In the above case, it is assumed that the non-woven fabric F is lapped from the direction in which the wrapping head 9 is vibrated.
If it is constructed so that it is closely attached to the plate-making roll R and pulled on the opposite side to be stretched, the unwinding direction of the non-woven fabric F and the vibration of the wrapping head 9 coincide with each other. When the non-woven fabric F is loosened and the rolling contact resistance of the plate-making roll R is applied to the non-woven fabric F, the non-woven fabric F comes out of contact with the lapping head 9. However, the present invention does not have such a configuration,
Since the wrapping head 9 is closely attached from the circumferential direction of the plate-making roll R to the plate-making roll R and pulled on the opposite side to secure the stake, the feeding direction of the nonwoven fabric F and the vibration of the wrapping head 9 are different. Since they intersect, the non-woven fabric F is not fed out by the vibration of the lapping head 9, the non-woven fabric F is maintained to be stretched, and the non-woven fabric F is not wound during the lapping.
Even if rotational contact resistance is applied to the plate-making roll R, the non-woven fabric F does not come out of contact with the lapping head 9. In this embodiment, since the suspension water of the wrapping powder is supplied to the contact portion between the plate making roll R and the nonwoven fabric F from the upstream side in the rotation direction of the plate making roll R,
Suspended water is satisfactorily drawn into the contact area between the plate-making roll R and the nonwoven fabric F. If the non-woven fabric F is brought into close contact with the wrapping head 9 from a direction matched with the vibration of the wrapping head 9 and is passed between the wrapping head 9 and the stencil roll R and pulled on the opposite side, the rotation direction of the stencil roll R is changed. When the vibration directions of the lapping head 9 and the lapping head 9 coincide with each other, the lapping powder is attracted to the contact point between the plate making roll R and the non-woven fabric F, so that the lapping powder intervenes a lot between the plate making roll R and the non-woven fabric F, When the rotation direction of the plate-making roll R and the direction of vibration of the lapping head 9 are opposite to each other, the amount of intervening lapping powder is reduced, and therefore the amount of intervening lapping powder is constantly changing. The force fluctuates and uneven wrapping occurs. However, the present invention does not have such a configuration, but has a configuration in which the feeding direction of the non-woven fabric F and the vibration of the lapping head 9 intersect, so that there is no fluctuation in the interposition amount of the lapping powder, and thus lapping unevenness occurs. Is avoided.

As described above, according to the lapping method for a plate-making roll of the present invention, the direction of vibration of the lapping head and the direction of rotation of the plate-making roll intersect so that lapping is performed by using a synthetic motion. Since it is carried out, countless lapping powders held in the texture of the non-woven fabric are used to grind on the surface of the plate-making roll in a serrated operation route in the circumferential direction, resulting in a very fine diamond array. It is preferable in terms of both the contact sliding direction of the doctor and the ink flow direction from the cell. Further, when the polishing marks have a very fine diamond arrangement, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of moire (interference fringe pattern) when a photosensitive film is applied on the plate-making roll and characters or images are written by the laser plotter. Since the lapping is performed by interposing a non-woven fabric, the lapping becomes soft, and the lapping powder is not only applied to the line contact portion between the lapping head and the plate-making roll but also to a width of several millimeters on both sides of the lapping powder. The polishing marks applied to the surface of the plate-making roll are much shallower than those of buffing.
Compared to buff polishing, it has a much better mirror finish. Since oils and fats and solvents are not used, cleaning after treatment is sufficient with washing with water. Each time one plate-making roll is processed, the non-woven fabric is wound up by a predetermined size and the unused part of the non-woven fabric is fed out for use. Therefore, the non-woven fabric does not need to be frequently replaced, and the running cost is extremely low.

1. A plate making roll which is chucked and rotated by a lapping head which is reciprocally movable from a circumferential direction of the plate making roll to a direction along the plate making roll, and which is a belt-shaped nonwoven fabric fed from a raw roll. The tension is secured by winding the non-woven fabric through the gap between the two sides, and the lapping head is elastically pressed against the plate-making roll to give rotation to the plate-making roll, while the motor rotation is applied to the lapping head as a vibration source. By applying a minute vibration along the plate-making roll, the minute vibration is also applied to the non-woven fabric that is in close contact with the lapping head, and the suspension water of the lapping powder is supplied to the place where the plate-making roll and the non-woven fabric make dynamic contact. Mirror polishing with the wrapping powder held in the texture of the roll and moving the mirror polishing position along the plate-making roll to polish the entire roll. A method for wrapping a plate-making roll, comprising:
