Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a noise or a misdetection due to resonance of both the leg parts of a forked dropper pin. CONSTITUTION:A pair of leg parts 5 and 7 of a forked dropper pin 1 are designed so that the natural frequencies may be mutually different. The difference in the natural frequency is produced recommendably by making the lengths, the weights or the shapes of the pair of the leg parts 5 and 7 differ from each other or by suitably combining these differences.

2. Description of the Related Art As the bifurcated dropper pin described above, the one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 60-21420 is known. In this bifurcated dropper pin, a pair of legs extend in parallel in the lower half with a central gap therebetween, and straddle the warp at the split leg point at the upper end of the gap. Further, in the upper half, a contact bar extending in the weaving width direction is inserted through an elongated hole extending vertically above the gap. The contact bar has a pair of electrodes insulated from each other, which electrodes are connected to a common loom stop command electrical circuit.

During normal operation, the dropper pin is supported by the straddling warp and the electrode of the contact bar is not connected. When the warp is cut off, the dropper pin loses its support and falls, making contact with the contact bar and connecting both electrodes, whereby the electric circuit becomes conductive and the loom stop signal is output.

However, in the conventional bifurcated dropper pin as described above, the pair of legs are completely the same in terms of material, shape and length. , Natural frequency of each leg (Since the bifurcated dropper pin has a cantilever structure, it is an odd multiple of the basic frequency)
Are exactly equal. For this reason, when one leg vibrates for some reason during weaving, the other leg is unavoidably resonated with it. As a result, the vibration of the dropper pin is amplified and collides with the adjacent dropper pin to generate noise, or the drop detection unit erroneously detects the dropper pin.

To this end, the gist of the present invention is that the pair of legs of the bifurcated dropper pin have different natural frequencies. In order to make the natural frequencies different, the lengths of the pair of legs may be made different, the weights may be made different, the shapes may be made different, and these differences may be appropriately combined. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the bifurcated dropper pin of the present invention in which the length of a pair of legs is different. The dropper pin 1 has a pair of legs 5 and 7 arranged side by side in the lower half with a central gap 2 interposed therebetween, and extends over the warp Y at the split leg point at the upper end of the gap. Here, one leg 5 and the other leg 7 have a difference in length such that their natural frequencies are different. Further, in the upper half, it is engaged with the contact bar 10 extending in the weaving width direction via the elongated hole 3 extending vertically above the gap 2. The contact bar 10 has a U-shaped electrode 11 and a flat plate-shaped electrode 12 which are insulated from each other. These electrodes 11 and 12 are electrically separated by an insulating layer 13 which is interposed therebetween, and are shown in the drawing. Not connected to a common, appropriately known loom stop command electrical circuit.

During normal operation, by straddling the warp Y, the dropper pin 1 is supported by the other leg of the warp and is kept in non-contact with the electrode 12. Although the dropper pin 1 also vibrates due to the vibration of the weaving and weaving machine and the warp, both legs 5, 7
Since they have different natural frequencies, they do not resonate. Warp Y
When cut, the dropper pin 1 loses its support and falls to contact the electrode 12, whereby the electrodes 11 and 12 are connected and the electric circuit is brought into conduction, and the loom stop command signal is output.

However, the structure of the dropper pin is not limited to that described above, the gap 2 and the elongated hole 3 are in communication with each other, the warp thread is passed through the portion corresponding to the elongated hole 3, and the contact bar 10 is provided at the portion corresponding to the gap 2. You may make it pass.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the bifurcated dropper pin of the present invention in which the weight of the pair of legs is different. That is, the two legs 5, 7 have the same length, and the weight 21 is attached to one leg 7 so that the natural frequencies of the two legs are different.

However, since there is a risk that the weight balance of both legs is lost when the weight is attached in this way, the natural frequency can be made different by making the shapes of both legs different in order to avoid this. FIG. 3 shows an example thereof, in which one leg 5 is twisted in the lower half so that the natural frequencies of the two legs are different.

Further, as an example in which the shapes of both legs are made different, there is one in which an enlarged portion 7a is formed at the lower end of one leg 7 as shown in FIG.

Although various embodiments have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these illustrated examples, and a plurality of items may be differently overlapped. For example, the lower end of one leg may be folded upward. In this case, both the length and the shape will be different. In short, the natural frequencies of the two legs may be set to be different within a range that does not adversely affect the other, in consideration of the weight balance of the two legs.

Since there is no resonance between the legs, it is possible to effectively reduce the occurrence of noise and malfunction of detection.
