【0011】回転枠3の内部には、鋼材を載せる昇降可
能なベッド40が設けられている。ベッド40の下部に
は、ベッド昇降用のモータ41が設けられ、該モータの
駆動ギヤ41aと噛み合うギヤ42を備えた横軸43が
軸受け44,44によって支承されている。横軸43の
両端部にはベベルギヤ46がそれぞれ設けられ、これら
が、回転枠3内に回転自在に設けられた左右一対の縦軸
47,47のベベルギヤ48が噛合している。回転枠
に固定した軸受け45に上端部が支承された上記両縦軸
47,47の外周部には雄ねじが切られており、この雄
ねじにベッド40の両端部に固定した雌ねじ部材50,
50がそれぞれ螺合している。モータ41を回転させれ
ば、縦軸47が回転するため、これに螺合している雌ね
じ部材と一体のベッド40が昇降する。
