Description
Claims (8)
- 1.液体流源と、該液体流源から第1の熱交換器へ液体を供給する供給ラインで あって、該熱交換器において前記液体が極低温冷却源により冷却され、次いで第 2の極低温冷却源により冷却される物品と熱交換関係になる第2の熱交換器に該 液体を供給する供給ラインと、該第2の熱交換器から前記液体流涙に液体流を戻 す戻りラインとを備え、該戻りラインと前記液体流源と前記第1の熱交換器との 間の前記供給ラインが第3の熱交換器内で互いに熱交換関係にある冷却手段にお いて、前記供給ラインまたは前記戻りライン内の前記液体流源と第3の熱交換器 との間に制御バルブが含まれて、前記供給ラインを介した且つ前記第1の熱交換 器から前記第2の熱交換器への液体流が制御されることを特徴とする冷却手段。
- 2.前記制御バルブは、閉鎖されて前記供給ラインを介した前記第1の熱交換機 から前記第2の熱交換機への液体流を阻止することができることを特徴とする請 求項1に記載の冷却手段。
- 3.前記制御バルブが前記供給ライン内に含まれ、且つ、前記第3の熱交換器( 戻りラインと熱交換関係にある)と前記第1の熱交換器(前記極低温冷却源によ り冷却される)とを介した前記供給ラインに平行な前記液体源から前記第2の熱 交換器へ液体を供給するように接続された別の供給ラインを含み、前記第2の熱 交換器がジユールートムソン膨張ブロックを構成し、該別の供給ラインが該ジュ ールートムソン膨張ブロックの流れ制限膨張バルブとして構成された入り口を介 して該ジュールートムソン膨張ブロック内に開口していることを特徴とする請求 項1に記載の冷却手段。
- 4.前記戻りラインが前記ジュールートムソン膨張ブロックからの液体出口を構 成し、自身に接続された前記制御バルブを有する前記供給ラインが前記別の供給 ラインに設けられた入り口より制暇が緩和された入り口を介して前記膨張ブロッ ク内に開口して、前記膨張ブロック内への液体流が、前記制御バルブが開放され ているか、または、閉鎖されているかによって、それぞれ自身に接続された前記 制御バルブを有する前記供給ラインか、前記別の供給ラインを介して選択的に流 れることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の冷却手段。
- 5.閉ループJ−T膨張段階及び少なくとも一つの予備冷却器を有する多段極低 温冷却装置であって、該J−T段階がガスコンプレッサーと、J−T膨張ブロッ ク(該コンプレッサーから高圧力ラインを介して高圧ガスを受け入れるように配 置され且つ自身の流れ制限膨張バルブとして構成された入り口及び低圧力戻りラ インを介して前記コンプレッサーに接続された出口を有する)と、前記高圧力ラ インと前記低圧力戻りラインが熱交換関係にあるJ−T段階熱交換器とを備え、 且つ、前記予備冷却器段階が高圧力ライン中のガスを、該ガスがJ−T段階熱交 換器へ進入する前に予備冷却するように配置されている多段極低温冷却装置にお いて、前記ジュールートムソン段階の高圧力ガスラインに、前記予備冷却器段階 との相互作用部位の上流で、バイパスバルブ(開放されると)を介して前記膨張 ブロック内に開口するバイパスラインに至り且つ前記流れ制限膨張バルブより絞 りの緩和されたガスルートを提供する枝管が設けられ、前記予備冷却器段階が前 記バイパスバルブの下流で、前記バイパスラインを流れるガスが前記膨張ブロッ クに到達する前に該ガスを冷却するように配置され、且つ、前記バイパスライン がジュールートムソン段階熱交換器を通過することなく、前記予備冷却器段階か ら直接前記膨張ブロックに至ることを特徴とする多段極低温冷却装置。
- 6.前記予備冷却器段階が前記高圧力ラインと前記バイパスライン内のがスがス ターリングサイクル冷却機により冷却されるそれぞれの熱交換器を備えることを 特徴とする請求項5に記載の極低温冷却装置。
- 7.添付図面の図1及び図2、または、図3を参照して本書にて略説明された如 き冷却手段。
- 8.添付図面の図1及び図2を参照して本書にて略説明された如き極低温冷却装 置。
