Claims (23)
- 1.サルモネラ菌を選択的に検出するための細菌学的分析方法であって、前記細 菌により代謝される栄養素と、酵素β−ガラクトシダーゼにより加水分解するこ とができる色素産生性又は弗素産生性の化合物とを含有してなる同定培地に分析 試料を接触させた状態で置くサルモネラを選択的に検出するための細菌学的分析 方法において、前記同定培地が更にグルクロン酸又はその塩とpH指示薬とを含 有してなることを特徴とするサルモネラを選択的に検出するための細菌学的分析 方法。
- 2.前記同定培地がグルクロン酸ナトリウムを同定培地1リットル当たり1〜3 0gの量で含有してなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。
- 3.前記同定培地がさらに、サルモネラ菌によって発酵され得る糖であってメリ ビオース、ソルビトール、ズルシトール、マンニトール、グルコース及びグルク ロネートから選ばれる少なくとも1種の糖を、同定培地1リットル当たり1〜1 0gの量で含有してなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項又は第2項記載の方 法。
- 4.pHを6〜8の値に調整することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第3項の いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 5.サルモネラ属の細菌により代謝される栄養素と、酵素β−ガラクトシダーゼ により加水分解され得る色素産生性又は弗素産生性の化合物とを含有してなるサ ルモネラ属の細菌の培養及び選択的検出用の培地において、前記培地がさらにグ ルクロン酸又はその塩とpH指示薬とを含有してなることを特徴とするサルモネ ラ属の細菌の培養及び選択的検出用の培地。
- 6.グルクロン酸又はその塩の量が培地1リットル当たり1〜30gであること を特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載の方法。
- 7.サルモネラ菌によって発酵され得る糖であってメリビオース、ソルビトール 、ズルシトール、マンニトール、グルコース及びグルクロネートから選ばれる少 なくとも1種の糖を培地1リットル当たり1〜10gの量でさらに含有してなる ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載の培地。
- 8.前記培地がソルビトールを培地1リットル当たり5〜10g、好ましくは8 gの量で含有してなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項記載の培地。
- 9.さらに5−ブロモ−4−クロロ−3−インドリル β−D−グルコピラノシ ドを培地1リットル当たり0.01〜0.05g、好ましくは0.025gの量 で含有してなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項記載の培地。
- 10.前記の色素産生性又は弗素産生性の化合物が次の化合物、すなわちp−ニ トロフェニル β−D−グルコピラノシド、4−メチルウンベリフェリル β− D−グルコピラノシド及び5−ブロモ−4−クロロ−3−インドリルβ−D−グ ルコピラノシドから選ばれるものであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載 の培地。
- 11.前記の色素産生柱の化合物が5−ブロモ−4−クロロ−3−インドリル β−D−グルコピラノシドであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項記載の培 地。
- 12.5−ブロモ−4−クロロ−3−インドリル β−D−グルコピラノシドの 量が培地1リットル当たり0.01〜1gであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 11項記載の培地。
- 13.サルモネラ以外の属又は種の細菌の増殖阻害剤であってブリリアントグリ −ン、デオキシコール酸ナトリウム及び胆汁塩類の混合物からなる群から選ばれ るサルモネラ以外の属又は種の細菌の増殖阻害剤を含有してなることを特徴とす る請求の範囲第5項記載の培地。
- 14.0〜100mgの量のブリリアントグリ−ンと、0〜10gの量のデオキ シコール酸ナトリウムとを含有してなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第13項記 載の培地。
- 15.デオキシコール酸ナトリウムの量が培地1リットル当たり1g〜5g、好 ましくは3〜4gであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項、第13項及び第1 4項記載の培地。
- 16.前記の栄養素がペプトン、酵母エキス及び塩化ナトリウムをそれぞれ1〜 20g、0〜10g及び0〜10gの量で含有してなることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第5項記載の培地。
- 17.前記pH指示薬が次の化合物、すなわちフェノールレッド、ブロモチモー ルブルー、ブロモクレゾールパーブル及びニュートラルレッドから選ばれるもの であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載の培地。
- 18.前記pH指示薬が5〜100mgの量のニュートラルレッドであることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第17項記載の培地。
- 19.前記培地がβ−ガラクトシダーゼ誘発剤、すなわちラクトース又はイソプ ロピル β−D−チオガラクトピラノシドを含有してなることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第5項記載の培地。
- 20.前記β−ガラクトシダーゼ誘発剤が培地1リットル当たり0〜100mg の量のイソプロピル β−D−チオガラクトピラノシドであることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第19項記載の培地。
- 21.そのpHを6〜8の値に調整することを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項〜第 20項のいずれか1項に記載の培地。
- 22.前記の培地が固体寒天の形態で提供されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 5項記載の培地。
- 23.請求の範囲第5項〜第22項のいずれか1項に記載の培地のパッケージか らなる細菌特定用の装置。
