Generally, steaming tea requires dry, saturated steam that does not contain water droplets at a low pressure and high temperature of 99 to 100 degrees Celsius, and it is desired that the steam penetrates deeply into the tea leaves and that the steam flow rate is even. However, the distance from the boiler dome to the steamer in the steamer currently used in tea making machines is quite far, so it gets cooled and saturated on the way, and the temperature in the steamer reaches about 92 to 95 degrees Celsius. These demands were not met, and the resulting products were inferior in color, aroma, taste, etc.

Now, FIG. 1 shows a steam generator equipped with an auxiliary boiler according to the present invention. 1 is a boiler of the type that burns with a conventional heavy oil burner 2. Saturated steam containing saturated water is sent from the top of the dome of the boiler 1 to the steamer 5 via the duct 3. 4 is an auxiliary boiler branched off in the middle of the duct 3. Numeral 6 is a valve that is opened to send steam directly when it is not necessary to pass the steam through the auxiliary boiler 4.

The auxiliary boiler 4 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. 8 is a combustor for LP gas, etc., which heats the bottom of the auxiliary boiler 4 with direct flame. The auxiliary boiler 4 has a can body 9 whose outer surface except the bottom is insulated with a heat insulating material layer 9a.The can body 9 is partitioned in the center by two left and right end plates 11 and 12, and has a large number of The heat exchange pipes 10'... are inserted between the left and right end plates 11, 12, and a large number of holes 22, 23 are bored in the end plates 11, 12.
A horizontally installed heat exchange chamber 10 is provided. A water preheater 13 is provided at the upper center of the can body 9. The preheater 13 includes a plurality of smoke pipes 14 arranged vertically, and these smoke pipes 14 are open at the top and bottom, but there is a water supply port 15 around the smoke pipes 14.
The water sent from the tank temporarily stays there and is preheated here.

A smoke chamber 1 is located between the bottom of the preheater 13 and the top of the can body 9.
6 is provided. 17 is an opening provided at the top of the can body 9. 18 is a conduit connecting the lower part of the can body 9 and the upper part of the preheater 13. 19 is a water level gauge,
This makes it possible to measure the upper limit water level and lower limit water level within the can body 9. The upper and lower limit water levels are detected and the supply water is supplied via a solenoid valve (not shown).
It is designed to perform ON-OFF control.

On the other hand, inside the auxiliary boiler 4, water that has been sent in advance from the water supply port 15, through the preheater 13, and then through the conduit 18 accumulates at the bottom, is heated by the combustor 8 at the bottom, and evaporates the water at the bottom. ing. On the other hand, the combustion gas generated in the combustor 8 passes through the heat exchange chamber 10,
After heating the pipe 10', the pipe 10' is discharged through the opening 17 at the top through the flue pipe 14 of the preheater 13, at which time the feed water is preheated.

Now, the wet steam from the boiler 1 enters through the steam inlet 20 and enters the can body 9, mixes with the high temperature steam in the can body, is further heated as it passes through the heat exchange pipe 10', and is discharged from the outlet 21. Ru. At this time, it becomes dry saturated steam ideal for tea making at a low pressure and high temperature of 99 to 100°C, and is sent to the steamer 5.

(Effects) Since a heat exchanger is installed and an auxiliary boiler that also generates steam is installed between the boiler and the steamer, even if the distance between the boiler and the steamer is quite long, the steam can be cooled midway. It is possible to supply ideal low-pressure, high-temperature steam without any problems.

In particular, it is not only heated in the auxiliary boiler, but also mixed with the steam generated in the boiler, so it does not contain water droplets, has uniform steam temperature and steam flow rate, and is fine and has good permeability into the tea leaves. Since steam can be sent, the color and color of the product can be changed.
It is possible to ideally bring out aroma, taste, etc.

予熱器で缶胴下部に送る水の予熱をするので、
排熱を利用でき、経済的である。
Since the preheater preheats the water sent to the lower part of the can body,
It is economical because waste heat can be used.
