However, under the harsh operating conditions of today's spinning mills, conventional spinning travelers lack abrasion resistance and wear out prematurely, leading to unstable travel, frequent yarn breakage, and fuzz. This problem occurred frequently, causing the traveler to seize prematurely and scattering, and furthermore, the life of the ring was shortened.

For this reason, in order to improve the wear resistance of the traveler, it has been considered that the traveler is coated with chrome plating, but although chrome plating has high hardness, it has poor compatibility with the ring, and the spinning force increases in the early stage of spinning. It has disadvantages such as excessive thread breakage, easy cracking of the plating surface, which causes exfoliation wear, and abnormal wear of the traveler.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional spinning machine traveler. It is an object of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional spinning machine traveler. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a traveler for a spinning machine that contributes to improved wear resistance and compatibility with the ring by forming a nitride layer of TiN, ZrN, NbN, TaN, BN, etc. on the traveler surface that comes into contact with the ring. It is something.

Effects of the Invention The spinning machine traveler of the present invention has a nitride layer that has good adhesion to the base material formed on at least the surface of the spinning machine traveler that contacts the ring, which is made of hard steel wire or alloy steel wire. It has excellent abrasion resistance, allows the traveler to run stably over a long period of time, has good compatibility with the ring, prevents frequent thread breakage, suppresses the occurrence of fuzz, and significantly extends the life of the traveler. In addition, since the nitride layer contributes to improved corrosion resistance, it is possible to prevent the traveler from rusting even when used for spinning flame-retardant fibers.
This invention has excellent effects.
