Abstract

PURPOSE:To accumulate a large number of recording papers accurately in a simple structure by constituting in such a way that a tray is usually housed in a facsimile device body and it is sent outside of the body when data is received and it is again housed in the body when data reception is finished. CONSTITUTION:When the present facsimile device is under a data receiving condition, receiving data receives image signal processing, and immediately before a reception recording paper 1 is discharged, the data is detected by means of a reception recording paper sensor composed of a light emitting unit 2 and a light receiving unit 3, and a discharge tray 6 housed in the device body is sent outside of the device body, and the reception recording paper 1 is accumulated here. Furthermore, electric current is supplied in the direction so as to rotate a motor 8 inversely after a prescribed time has passed according to a timer, and the discharge tray 6 is housed in the device body. Further, after this discharge tray housing operation is finished, the fact that the reception recording paper 1 is stored in the discharge tray 6 is informed by means of a LED display, and counter indication is counted up by one count by using a series of these operations as one unit.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a general facsimile apparatus, received recording paper is constructed so as to be accumulated on a tray (also referred to as "discharge tray") provided outside the main body of the facsimile apparatus. However, in the above-described apparatus, the recording paper may overflow from the discharge tray and be scattered, and in some cases, the recording paper may be lost. To solve this problem, for example, a recording paper aligning device disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1-294152 has been proposed. This device
By stacking the recording sheets with one end aligned inside the facsimile apparatus, the discharge tray is unnecessary.

However, although the above-mentioned prior art can save the installation space of the facsimile apparatus by eliminating the discharge tray, it is not possible to stack a large number of recording papers. However, there is a problem that a paper jam may occur in some cases and the structure of the stacking unit becomes complicated. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to solve the above-described problems in the conventional technique and to reliably stack a large number of recording papers with a simple structure. To provide a simple facsimile device.

FIG. 1 shows a flow chart of operation control of this system by the above-mentioned control circuit. The operation of this embodiment will be described below with reference to the drawings shown above. The operation of the entire system is such that when the facsimile apparatus is in the receiving state, the received data is subjected to image signal processing and immediately before the receiving recording paper 1 is discharged, the receiving recording paper composed of the light emitting section 2 and the light receiving section 3 is received. The discharge tray 6 which has been detected by the sensor and has been housed in the main body of the apparatus until then is sent out of the main body of the apparatus, and the reception recording paper 1 is accumulated there. More specifically, when the reception recording paper 1 is detected by the reception recording paper sensor as described above (step 21), a current is generated in the direction for rotating the motor 8 in the normal direction (which means the direction in which the discharge tray 6 is sent out). After being supplied, the discharge tray 6 is sent out of the apparatus main body via the motor 8, the pinion gear 7, and the rack 9 (step 22). After a predetermined time has passed by the timer (Step 2
3) The electric current is supplied in the direction in which the motor 8 is rotated in the reverse direction (which means the direction in which the discharge tray 6 is stored), and the discharge tray 6 is stored in the apparatus main body (steps 24 and 25). Further, after the discharge tray storing operation is completed, the LED display notifies that the receiving recording paper is stored in the discharge tray 6.
(Step 26). Further, the counter display is incremented by 1 with the series of operations described above as "1" (step 27).
The above is the operation when there is only one received recording sheet, and when there are multiple received recording sheets, the above operation is repeated for the number of sheets. As a result, the operator can be notified of the number of received recording sheets stored in the stored discharge tray 6.

The above operation, that is, the operation at the time of reception is
As a general rule, all operations are automatically performed, and the recording paper is accumulated in the discharge tray 6 each time it is received. When the LED indicator 12 of the facsimile apparatus is turned on, the operator or the like knows that the receiving recording paper is stored in the discharge tray 6, and the discharge tray 6 is moved to the outside of the apparatus main body by the following operation. Send it out and take out the received recording paper. That is, if the receiving recording paper sensor is off (the receiving recording paper is not detected) and the discharge tray sending switch 10 is pressed,
(Step 28), the motor 8 is normally rotated for a certain period of time, and the discharge tray 6 is sent out of the apparatus main body (Steps 29 and 30). When the operator presses the discharge tray storage switch 11 after taking out the received recording paper (step 31), the motor 8 reverses for a certain period of time, and the discharge tray 6 is stored in the apparatus main body (steps 32 and 33). Next, the counter display is reset (step 34), and the LED display indicating that the receiving recording paper is present in the discharge tray 6 is also turned off (step 35). According to the above-described embodiment, it is possible to realize a facsimile device which can surely stack a large number of recording papers with a simple structure and save the installation space of the facsimile device. Further, when the reception recording paper is present in the discharge tray and the number of the received recording paper is displayed, the usability of the facsimile apparatus is further improved. It is needless to say that the above embodiment is an example of the present invention and the present invention should not be limited to this.
