FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. In this figure, the same or equivalent parts as in the conventional example shown in FIG. 2 are designated by the same reference numerals, and the explanation thereof will be omitted. A feature of this embodiment is that a switch 11 is provided in the circuit connecting the phototransistor 6 and the terminal 9. This switch 11 is an elastic plate 11 whose one end is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the bottom 5a of the hole 5 of the optical connector 4.
a, a contact 11b provided on the other end of the elastic plate 11a, and a contact 11c provided on the inner peripheral surface of the bottom 5a and connected to the terminal 9. A tongue piece 12 that projects into the hole 5 into which the optical jack 2 is inserted is fixed to the free end of the elastic plate 11a.

Next, the operation and effects of this embodiment will be explained. When the optical jack 2 is removed from the optical connector 4, the tongue piece 12 protrudes into the hole 5, the contacts 11b and 11c are not in contact, and the electrical signal circuit of the phototransistor 6 is cut off. There is. Therefore, even if external light enters through the hole 5 and the phototransistor 6 is activated, the electrical signal is not transmitted to the terminal 9 and no malfunction occurs. When the optical jack 2 is inserted into the hole 5 of the optical connector 4, the optical jack 2 pushes the tongue piece 12 so that the contacts 11b and 11c come into contact, and an electrical signal is transmitted to the terminal 9.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, the invention provides a switch that conducts the electrical signal of the phototransistor to the terminal only when the optical jack is inserted into the optical connector, and cuts off the electrical signal when the optical jack is removed. With this provision, malfunctions due to external light when the optical jack is removed can be prevented, and the reliability of the optical connector device can be improved. In addition, since the switch only performs switching control to cut off or derive the output of the phototransistor, it can be of a simple mechanical structure that is integrated into the optical connector, making it simpler and simpler. This ensures reliable operation.
