Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a process, in which preparatory works are carried out, by using a connecting member common in a plurality of kinds of carrier tapes. CONSTITUTION:Three opening sections disposed in a row are formed, and the opening section at a center is formed in a circular hole 11. The two opening sections at both end sections are formed as slots 12, 13, in which a circular hole 101 at the maximum pitch of the feed pitches of a carrier tape and a circular hole 102 at a minimum pitch are continued at spaces from the circular hole at a central section. A connecting member 1 is composed of the base material section 11 of paper, a polyester machined surface 110 and an adhesive surface 112 coated with an acrylic solvent. Consequently, both when carrier tapes, to which components 40 having the different intervals of leads are disposed and which are positioned at a feed interval d1, are connected and when carrier tapes, to which components 60 are arranged and which are positioned at a feed interval d2, are connected, the carrier tapes can be connected firmly by the same connecting member 1. Accordingly, a process, in which preparatory works are conducted, can be simplified.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, almost all components for mounting on a printed circuit board such as a television receiver have been automatically inserted and mounted by an automatic insertion device. Along with this, for parts with different lead intervals such as electrolytic capacitors, use a carrier tape of a specified length with a specified feed pitch hole for each of the parts with the same interval, and insert the parts into the automatic insertion device. In order to prevent the operation from being stopped, the automatic insertion device is continuously operated even when it has been continuously fed to the component automatic insertion device and the use of a predetermined number of component lots has been completed. A carrier tape of a predetermined length is connected by a connecting member. Therefore, if the pitch intervals of the connecting members are also different from the feed pitch of the carrier tape, different types of different types are required to match the feed pitch intervals of the carrier tape. Prepare connecting members with a large number of pitch intervals. I have to keep it.

However, in such a conventional connecting member, it is necessary to prepare a plurality of types of connecting members corresponding to the pitch of the carrier tape.
It is necessary to provide a step of performing a preparatory work for using a connecting member of the same type as the carrier tape according to the automatically inserted parts. Furthermore, since it is necessary to prepare multiple types of connecting members, each type of connecting member is a seal-type sheet, and it takes time to select a sheet and use it properly, and the number of man-hours is also increased. In many cases, this has been a factor in reducing efficiency in automatic component insertion.

Further, the conventional connecting member has a structure in which a sticky sticker is arranged on a sheet in a matrix form on one surface of the paper of the base material portion, and a large part is provided in terms of adhesive strength, strength and the like. The adhesive strength, strength, etc. to the carrier tape were not sufficient, and the connection part was broken due to the vibration of the device, the connection member seal was peeled off, etc., which was a factor of lowering the operation rate in automatic component insertion.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention uses a base member such as paper and a resin sheet such as polyester or polyester processing as a connecting member that can be commonly used for many kinds of carrier tapes. An adhesive material is applied to one surface of a sheet having a two-layer structure with a resin coating layer, and three opening portions are arranged in a row, and central holes of the three opening portions are formed as round holes. The open hole portion formed as a continuous long hole having round holes formed with the maximum distance in the predetermined pitch interval and the circular hole formed with the minimum distance in the pitch interval is the continuous hole. It is arranged as two open holes at both ends, and is detachably attached to the continuous tape at a predetermined interval by the adhesive material.

By using the connecting member of the present invention, it is only necessary to prepare the same connecting member for many types of carrier tapes, and the efficiency of the preparation process can be improved.
It is not necessary to prepare a large number of multiple types of seals in a sheet shape, and they can be placed continuously on one tape and kept in a roll state, so an adhesive with sufficient adhesive strength is used. In addition, by improving the connection strength with a two-layer structure of a resin sheet such as polyester and a paper base material, a connection member having sufficient adhesive strength and strength can be efficiently used even for a carrier tape of a large component. It can be supplied well.

The feeding distance d 1 of the carrier tape on which the component 40 is arranged and the feeding distance d 2 of the carrier tape on which the component 60 is arranged in FIG. 4 are the same as the center hole of the connecting member 1 in FIG. When the maximum pitch P 1 which is the distance between the round holes 101 and 104 having the maximum distance between the holes and the minimum pitch P 2 which is the distance between the round holes 102 and 103 having the minimum distance between the center hole and the long holes are equal to each other, that is, d 1 = P 1 and d 2 = P
In the case of 2 , the feeding round holes 10 of the carrier tapes 21 and 22 of FIG. 6 are matched with the round hole portions 101 and 104 of the long holes 12 and 13 of the connecting member 1 having the maximum spacing, and the carrier tape 23 of FIG. , 24 of the feeding round holes 20 match the round hole portions 102, 103 of the elongated holes 12, 13 of the connecting member 1 with the minimum distance. When the carrier tape feed interval d 3 is between the maximum and minimum intervals, that is, d 1 > d 3 > d
In the case of the relationship of 2 , the feeding round hole of the carrier tape is located at the open hole portion in which the longest hole 12 and the longest hole 13 of the connecting member 1 and the longest hole are continuous. It will be. (Not shown) As described above, even if the carrier tape feed interval is any interval between the maximum pitch and the minimum pitch, the same connecting member 1 can be used for connection, and therefore the connection member can be prepared. For example, it is only necessary to install a roll-type labeler as shown in FIG. 3, and the connection work can be performed efficiently.

As is apparent from the above embodiments, according to the present invention, a plurality of types of large and small parts having different lead wire intervals are connected to carrier tapes having different feed pitches. One type of connecting member can be used to connect carrier tapes of all pitch intervals between the maximum pitch interval and the minimum pitch interval, and one side of the paper of the base material is subjected to resin processing such as polyester processing, etc. An adhesive material such as an acrylic solvent is applied to the surface of (1) to increase the connection strength, so that the insertion parts can be stably supplied to the automatic parts insertion device. Furthermore, as the connecting member, only one kind is required, the work of properly using various connecting members corresponding to the carrier tape is unnecessary, and the preparation of the connecting member only needs to install a roll type labeler, It is possible to provide a carrier tape connecting member that can efficiently supply the connecting member to the connecting step.

6. A carrier tape having a predetermined length in which a plurality of radial parts are attached at a predetermined interval and feed pitch holes are provided at a predetermined interval, and a plurality of parts different from the part are provided at the predetermined interval. In the component automatic insertion device in which two types of carrier tapes are used, which are attached at intervals different from each other and have feed pitch holes provided at intervals different from the intervals, at least two types of carrier tapes are used. A connection member for connecting the carrier tapes in order to continuously feed the carrier tapes to the component automatic insertion device, and is provided on one surface of a two-layered sheet including a base material portion such as paper and a resin sheet such as polyester. Along with applying the adhesive material, three holes are arranged in a row, and the central holes of the three holes are formed as round holes, and the distances from the central holes are predetermined. The open holes formed by connecting the round holes formed at the maximum interval among the pitch intervals and the round holes formed at the minimum interval among the pitch intervals as long holes are two open holes at the both ends. And a detachable attachment member arranged at a predetermined interval on the continuous tape by the adhesive material.
