Description of the Related Art Reducing the fuel consumption rate is one of the major technical problems in automobiles, and as part of this measure, there is an increasing demand for weight reduction of pneumatic tires. By the way, an inner liner layer made of non-gas permeable rubber such as butyl rubber is provided on the inner surface of the pneumatic tire in order to keep the tire air pressure constant. However, since butyl rubber has a property of poor affinity with other rubbers, the adhesion of the carcass layer to the inner surface rubber is not sufficient. Therefore, they are joined together via a rubber sheet called tie rubber, which generally has an intermediate composition between butyl rubber and inner surface rubber, and butyl rubber is not completely non-gas permeable, so it is necessary to maintain the required tire pressure. Had to have a rubber thickness of at least several hundreds of μm. Therefore, the layer in which the thickness of tie rubber is added to the thickness of butyl rubber is 1mm (1000μ
The thickness exceeds m), which is one of the causes of increasing the weight of the product tire.

This vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer has a smaller gas permeability than butyl rubber and is excellent in non-gas permeability, so by using this as a constituent material of the inner liner layer, the thickness of the inner liner layer can be reduced. It can be made thinner than before. Therefore, the tire weight can be reduced without impairing the air pressure retention.

In the method for producing a pneumatic tire of the present invention, when the inner liner layer is disposed inside the carcass layer, the inner surface of the carcass layer of the green tire made of unvulcanized rubber is preliminarily molded from vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer. By laminating the obtained thin film, or by spraying or applying a solution of vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer or an aqueous emulsion, and then vulcanizing this green tire,
It is possible to manufacture the pneumatic tire having the above-described weight reduction. In this case, since the vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer has excellent adhesiveness to rubber, it is laminated on the inner surface of the green tire in the form of a thin film or is applied on the inner surface of the green tire in the form of a solution or an aqueous emulsion. As a result, since the inner surface rubber is integrally bonded during vulcanization, it is not necessary to use a conventional tie rubber, which contributes to weight reduction of the tire.

Vulcanize. Also in this case, it is not necessary to use the tie rubber as in the above case.

It is preferable to use a material of about 85:15 (mol%). If the copolymerization ratio of vinylidene chloride is less than 50 mol%, the gas permeability becomes large, so in order to have the necessary non-gas permeability, the inner liner layer made of vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer must be thickened. I won't.
On the other hand, when the copolymerization ratio of vinylidene chloride exceeds 85 mol%, the chemical stability to heat and light is lowered and the miscibility with various plasticizers is also lowered.

After spraying or applying the solution or aqueous emulsion of the copolymer,
The inner liner layer 3 can be provided on the inner surface of the tire inside the carcass layer 2 by vulcanizing this green tire by a usual method. In this case, the thickness of the thin film or coating film made of vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer is preferably 10 to 50 μm. By making the thickness of this thin film or coating film 10 μm or more, air leakage can be effectively prevented and the air pressure can be kept constant. Further, by setting the thickness of the thin film or the coating film to 50 μm or less, good flexibility as the inner liner layer can be secured.

A leak test was performed. The results and the weight of the inner liner layer are shown in Table 1. Tire 1 of the present invention : A thin film of vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer (vinylidene chloride 85 mol%) having a thickness of 20 μm is laminated as an inner liner layer on the inner surface of the green tire, and then the green tire is vulcanized and molded. Tires. Inventive tire 2 : Vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer (vinylidene chloride 85 mol%) was dissolved in methyl alcohol to a concentration of 20% by weight, and this solution was applied as an inner liner layer on the inner surface of a green tire and dried. A tire obtained by vulcanizing and molding this green tire after the inner liner layer had a thickness of approximately 20 μm. Comparative tire : Approximately 5 made of unvulcanized butyl rubber on the inner surface of a green tire with a tie rubber of about 700 μm interposed.
A tire obtained by forming an inner liner layer having a thickness of 00 μm and then vulcanizing and molding this green tire. Air leak test : At room temperature of 21 ℃, after mounting the tire (still state) on the standard rim, leave it at the internal pressure of 2.0 kgf / cm 2 for 48 hours and readjust the internal pressure to 2.0 kgf / cm 2 . Immediately after readjustment, the internal pressure was measured every 48 hours for 3 months, starting from the time when the measurement was started.

It is preferable to use one having a ratio of 0 to 85:15 (mol%). Copolymerization ratio of vinylidene chloride is 50 mol%
If it is less than 1, the inner liner layer made of vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer must be thickened in order to provide the necessary non-gas permeability because the gas permeability becomes large. On the contrary, the copolymerization ratio of vinylidene chloride is 85 m.
If it exceeds ol%, the chemical stability to heat and light is lowered, and the miscibility with various plasticizers is also lowered.

In this case, the thickness of the thin film or coating made of vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer is 1
It is preferably 0 to 50 μm.

Invention Tire 1: Vinylidene chloride vinyl chloride copolymer (vinylidene chloride 85 mol) on the inner surface of the green tire.

Aqueous emulsion obtained by copolymerization by polymerization method
(Vinylidene chloride ratio of the copolymer is 85 mol%)
A tire obtained by applying an inner liner layer to the inner surface of a green tire so that the inner liner layer has a thickness of about 20 μm when dried, and then vulcanizing the green tire. Comparative tire : A tire obtained by forming an inner liner layer having a thickness of about 500 μm made of unvulcanized butyl rubber on the inner surface of a green tire via a tie rubber having a thickness of about 700 μm, and then vulcanizing and molding the green tire. Air leak test : At room temperature of 21 ° C., after mounting the tire (stationary state) on the standard rim, 48 at an internal pressure of 2.0 kgf / cm 2 .
After allowing to stand for a while, the internal pressure is readjusted to 2.0 kgf / cm 2 . Immediately after readjustment, the internal pressure was measured every 48 hours for 3 months, starting from the time when the measurement was started.
