A cabinet using such a substrate is basically a back plate of the base material 20 at the portion to be folded as shown in FIG. V-groove 2 with an angle of 90 degrees to reach the sheet member 21 of
2 is formed, the V groove 22 is bent inward, and the joint surfaces 23 and 24 cut at an angle of 45 degrees are fixed with an adhesive to form a right-angled corner portion. It is a rectangular parallelepiped cabinet consisting of a bottom plate. However, while the resulting cabinet has the advantage of being extremely simple and inexpensive to manufacture, the cabinet has the risk of damaging people and other items at the sharp corners because each corner is at a right angle. In addition, there was a drawback that the degree of freedom in designing the cabinet was extremely low.

Further, as shown in FIG. 11, a circular arc is formed so that a part of the arc is substantially in contact with the sheet member 28 on the back surface of the portion corresponding to the corner portion of the base material 29 having the sheet member 28 adhered on the surface. An arc-shaped notch 30 is formed, and a round bar 31 having an outer diameter whose outer peripheral portion is in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the notch is fitted in the arc-shaped notch 30, and then the notch 30 is bent inward. Therefore, a method of forming the corner portion in a rounded shape has been put into practical use.

In the known means for forming the corner portion of the cabinet in a rounded shape, a method of forming a comb tooth-shaped notch on the back surface portion of the base material is a method of forming a comb tooth-shaped groove. Since it is an extremely important condition for the radius of the part, skill required for comb-shaped notch is required,
Skilled technology is also required in the bending process, and if there are mistakes in these processes, the corners will not be clean and wrinkles will occur on the sheet member attached to the surface, and processing technology will be required There is a drawback that it is not suitable for cabinets for various speaker systems.

On the other hand, in the method of forming a circular arc-shaped notch in a portion corresponding to the corner of the base material and bending it inward by interposing a round bar in the notch, the surface of the corner is compared. Although it is finished beautifully, it requires a separate piece called a round bar, which leads to an increase in cost, and strength is required unless the inner peripheral surface of the arcuate cutout and the outer peripheral surface of the round bar are securely bonded. Therefore, there was a problem to be solved in productivity.

In the present invention, the base material constituting the speaker cabinet is not particularly limited as long as it has a shielding effect, is heavy and hard, and has good damping vibration characteristics of the plate itself. From the viewpoints of workability and economical efficiency, veneer core plywood, lumber core plywood, particle board and the like having high fiber density can be preferably used. In particular, a particle board having a predetermined thickness and a dense fiber board laminated and bonded on the surface are preferable. When a single base material is used instead of a composite material, and when the fiber density is not dense, the arcuate facing surfaces are likely to be roughened when the R groove is cut, and this roughness is a thin sheet member when bent. It is preferable that the member for processing the R groove has a high fiber density regardless of whether it is a single plate or a composite plate, because it does not have a beautiful rounded shape.

The sheet member, which is attached to the surface of the substrate while covering the R groove, prevents the base material from separating even when a cutout portion is formed for bending the base material, and prevents the surface of the base material from being separated. It is used for protection, and a thin veneer made by cutting out polyvinyl chloride or natural wood, and artificial leather or paper is appropriately selected and used. There is no particular limitation on the thickness of the sheet member, but a thickness of about 0.3 to 1.0 mm is preferable, and in the case of a sheet member made of a material other than the veneer, even if a grain of wood or the like is printed on the surface. Good.

In the present invention, in order to obtain a rectangular parallelepiped cabinet, the V groove having an angle of 90 degrees is formed on the back surface of the base material as described above. However, the angle of the V groove to be formed is 90 degrees. In the above case, when the bent portion is bent inward, the corner portion has an obtuse angle shape, so that the entire shape can be a polygonal shape close to a cylindrical shape. Also, the angle is 9
When the angle is 0 degrees or less, the corner portion has an acute angle shape, so that the entire shape can be triangular or pentagonal.

In particular, the R-shaped groove having a desired curvature can be formed by appropriately selecting the depth of the R groove formed in advance in the base material, so that the degree of freedom in designing the cabinet is significantly improved. Further, since the arcuate facing surface formed by cutting the R groove is a clean arc when the base material is bent inward, a wrinkle or the like does not occur in the sheet member covering the R groove, A speaker cabinet with stable quality can be provided.
