Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain easily a package in which layers of a container do not separate from each other while easiness of unsealing of a lid is being retained, by a method wherein the container is formed of a sealant layer and an adjacent layer, both having a specified laminate strength, and an unsealed part is arranged at a flange outside part of the container. CONSTITUTION:In a sealed package, a lid 1 is sealed on a container 2 with a flange. In this instance, the container 2 is formed of a multi-layer construction including at least two layers, such as a sealant layer 5 and its adjacent layer 6. Laminate strength of the sealant layer 5a and the adjacent layer 6 is set less than an unsealing strength of the lid to be sealed on the sealant layer 5. Thickness of the sealant layer 5 is set more than 10mum. Further an unsealed part 8 having a width of more than 1mm is arranged on a flange outside part of the container 2. By this, unsealing of the lid 1 is carried out between the sealant layers 5 of the container 2 and the lid 1. Thereby separation between the sealant layer 5 and the adjacent layer 6 can be prevented.

In order to hermetically seal a container having such a multi-layered structure while maintaining the easy-opening property, the adhesive strength of each layer of the multi-layered structure must be stronger than the sealing strength with the lid. If the sealing strength is stronger than the adhesive strength between the layers, it does not separate from the interface between the lid and the container at the time of unsealing, but separation occurs between the layers in the container, and a bag-like thing between the lid and the container sealant layer occurs. It had a drawback that it was formed and the contents could not be taken out easily. In order to solve this problem, if the sealing strength is set lower than the adhesive strength of the container by changing the sealing conditions and the material of the lid, etc., the sealing reliability will be reduced and the sealing failure will occur during transportation or in the process. In some cases.

As a method for solving these problems,
A method of increasing the interlayer adhesion strength in the container is generally used, but this requires the use of an expensive adhesive and pretreatment for increasing the interlayer strength, which avoids high costs. I couldn't do it. On the other hand, various methods have been proposed in which the interlaminar adhesive strength of the container is adjusted at a low level, and one layer inside the container is peeled off while opening the container (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-251363, etc.), which has both sealing property and easy opening property. However, there is a cutting process after molding the container,
There is a drawback that the container becomes expensive. Also,
A cost-effective proposal has been made to finish peeling inside the container and open it due to the shape of the sealing plate when sealing the container, but it may not be possible depending on the material of the container, or it is necessary to adjust the position etc. Therefore, another convenient method has been demanded. Further, although it has been known to prevent peeling in the container by changing the container form (for example, bending the outer edge of the container flange downward), there is a drawback that the container design is restricted.

According to the present invention, any container may be used as long as the sealant layer has a low thickness and a low interlayer strength. Further, it is not necessary to take any special means for improving the interlayer adhesive strength. For example, a container having a sealant layer made of polyethylene (PE) and an adjacent layer made of PP, or another sealant layer having a high adhesive strength with other resins is used. Hard Polycarbonate (PC), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PE
Resins such as T), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polystyrene (PS) can be used, and PP, EVOH, nylon (Ny) and the like are used as the adjacent layer. Further, a multilayer structure using EVOH, aluminum foil, vinylidene chloride resin (PVDC) or the like as a barrier layer can also be used.

As a method for laminating these resins, known laminating techniques such as a coextrusion method, a coextrusion laminating method, an extrusion laminating method and a dry laminating method are used. Further, in order to bond the resins to each other for the purpose of stacking these, an adhesive suitable for the individual resins or an adhesive resin is used, but a special adhesive layer for improving the adhesive strength is used. Not necessarily good. As a method of molding these multilayer sheets into a container, a vacuum forming method, a pressure forming method, a vacuum pressure forming method which are generally used, or a cold working method when a metal is used as one layer can be used. ..
As the lid material used in the present invention, any lid material can be used as long as it can seal the innermost layer of the container and exhibits a container sealant layer and easy opening. For example, as a material exhibiting easy-opening property, a mixture of a material capable of adhering with the container sealant layer and a non-adhesive material so as to have an easy-opening property, an adhesive material, or a sealant layer and a lid of a lid material. In some cases, the base material layer of the material is delaminated to show easy opening.

P is used as a barrier layer on the easy-opening layer of the lid material.
Layers having excellent printability such as VDC, EVOH, aluminum foil, Ny and PET are laminated. Further, the lid is not limited to the film shape, and a molded article form may be used. For example, a multilayer sheet having a heat sealable PET as a sealant, EVOH as a barrier layer and PP as an outer layer can be formed into a drop lid shape by vacuum forming and used. As a method of welding these lid and main body container,
Known heat sealing method, ultrasonic sealing method, high frequency sealing method and the like are used.

The function of the present invention will be described. The outer edge of the flange portion of the multilayer container usually has a boundary between the layers. As shown in FIG. 1, when the lid member 1 is sealed up to the outer edge of the flange, the lamination strength between the sealant layer 5 of the container 2 and the adjacent layer 6 adjacent to the sealant layer 5 of the lid member and the sealant layer 5 of the container is increased. If it is less than the unsealing strength, the unsealing force also works as a force to separate the layers of the container. At this time, the interlayer strength is equal to or lower than the unsealing strength between the sealant layer 4 of the lid material and the sealant layer 5 of the container (usually, the interlayer adhesive strength is 1200 g / 25 m.
When the peeling progresses, one layer of the lid material and the container forms a bag shape, and the contents cannot be taken out. ..

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, by leaving an unsealed portion 8 having a width of 1 mm or more from the outer side of the flange, the unsealing force may separate the adhesion between the lid and the container and destroy the sealant layer. However, in the present invention, even if the sealant layer is sufficiently thick and the laminating strength between the sealant layers is equal to or lower than the opening strength between the sealant layer 4 of the lid material and the sealant layer 5 of the container, peeling of the sealant layer is not caused. It can be opened without breaking the sealant layer. At this time,
If the width of the unsealed portion is 1 mm or less, the force for opening is small, but the layer acts as an interlayer peeling force to cause interlayer peeling. From this viewpoint, the unsealed portion 8 is 1 m from the outer edge of the flange.
It is desirable to have it on the outer side of the outer flange of m or more. When the sealant layer 5 has a thickness of 10 μm or less, the unsealing force acts as a destructive force for the sealant layer and may lead to delamination. The sealant layer 5 has a thickness of 10 μm.
The above is desirable.

The adhesive strength (opening strength) of the lid material having the function of easy opening to the container is generally 1000 to 1500 g.
The width is / 25 mm, and if the opening strength is this strength, the sealed package can be smoothly opened. In the present invention, the thickness of the sealant layer 5 is set to 10 μm or more even if the laminate strength between the sealant layer 5 of the container and the adjacent layer 6 adjacent thereto is not more than the unsealing strength of the lid material, and the container By leaving the unsealed portion 8 outside the outer edge portion of the flange by 1 mm or more, peeling between the sealant layer 5 and the adjacent layer 6 can be suppressed at the time of opening, so that the sealing material 9 can be easily opened from the sealing portion 9 with the lid member. It was done.

EXAMPLES Table 1 shows the structures of the five types of examples used in the present invention and three types of multilayer sheets used for comparison. These multilayer sheets were prepared by the coextrusion method. These multilayer sheets were calibrated using an indirect heating type vacuum forming machine,
A container having a height of 50 mm and a bottom diameter of 40 mmφ was prepared. These containers 2 have a sealing strength of 1500 g / 25 m with respect to the container due to the lid member 1 made of the same resin as the sealant layer 5 of the container.
It was sealed by a heat sealing method so as to have a width of m. In addition, as shown in Table 1, the peeling strength between the sealant layer 5 and the adjacent layer 6 of the multilayer sheets of Examples and Comparative Examples used for the evaluation is as shown in Table 1 between the sealant layer 4 of the lid material and the sealant layer 5 of the container. It was less than the opening strength. In addition, in Examples 1, 3, 4, and 5, an EVA-based commonly used adhesive is used between the sealant layer 5 and the adjacent layer 6, and in Example 2, no adhesive is used. The evaluation of the openability is performed by several openability evaluation monitors.
It was evaluated by actually opening the hermetically sealed package. For those that can be opened and the contents can be taken out, ○, those that could not be taken out when the contents of the seal layer and the adjacent layer were separated from each other when peeling occurred and a bag was formed with the lid material and the container body seal layer. It was set to x.

In the hermetically sealed package of the present invention, even if the adhesive strength between the sealant layer of the container and the adjacent layer adjacent thereto is not more than the sealing strength (opening strength) between the sealant layer of the lid and the sealant layer of the container. The opening of the lid material is performed between the sealant layer of the container and the sealant layer of the lid material, and peeling between the sealant layer of the container and the adjacent layer does not occur. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a special adhesive or an adhesive layer between the sealant layer of the container and the adjacent layer, and the container can be easily opened with the lid material without post-processing of the flange for improving the interlayer strength. It is possible to easily and inexpensively obtain a package that is not delaminated.
