Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The head device is constituted in the following manner: a magnetic head 1 is bonded to a head base 2 in which a magnetic-head mounting part is shaped so as to be deformed elastically; the head base is attached to a rotary cylinder 4 in such a way that the tip of a magnetic head protrudes from its outermost circumferential face by a prescribed amount; the magnetic head 1 is moved continuously to the central direction of the rotation of the cylinder so as to be in proportion to a contact force with the magnetic tape; and its protruding amount is changed. By this constitution, it is possible to obtain the rotary magnetic head device which always comes into stable contact with the tape without being affected by the relative speed of the tape.

は固定ベース11と可動ベース12で構成されている。

12が移動し磁気ヘッド1がシリンダ4から磁気テープ

明する。図1は本発明による磁気ヘッドのシリンダ取付
け部を示す外観図で、磁気ヘッド1は半弓形状のヘッド

は固定ネジ部5の幅W1が磁気ヘッド接着部6(幅W2

より該突出し量をそれよりも少なくすることを基本構造
としているためにシリンダの回転数(テープ相対速度)
に影響されずにその効果が得られる。また、初期突出し
量をシリンダ回転時の突出し量よりも大きくしているた
め、シリンダ回転立上り時における磁気テープのキズツ
キも防止することができる。さらに、初期突出し量の設
定精度はシリンダ回転時に突出し量が磁気テープ当接力
により変化するために高精度を必要とすることがない。
なお、初期突出し量はすくなくとも磁気テープが当接し
たときの突出し量よりも多ければよく、実施例に示した
数値は絶対的なものではない。

ッドベ−スと同様に安定したテープタッチが得られる。
実施例ではオイルダンパー機構を使用したが、他にエア
ーダンパー機構、磁気反力機構を用いても同様な効果が
得られるのはいうまでもなく、要は磁気テープが当接し
た場合にその当接力により磁気ヘッドの突出し量が初期
設定時よりも小さくなる機構であれば良い。
