Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively manufacture a chinaware having a looking well ornamental hole by inserting an elastic rubber body having an outer configuration corresponding to the ornamental hole, following this, casting slurry into the mold, and further extracting the elastic rubber body therefrom after discharging of the slurry. CONSTITUTION:On the upper central part of handle forming parts 311, 321 of, for example, a coffee cup, elastic rubber body inserting holes 312, 322 are provided. The elastic rubber body 4 is composed of silicone rubber. The upper mold 31 and the lower mold 32 are set in superimposed relation such that projected prongs 313, 314 are inserted into the recessed receiving parts 323, 324. Into the elastic rubber insertion holes 321, 322, the inserting flat parts of the silicon rubber bodies 4 are inserted. From the slurry pouring ports 315, 325, slurry is put into the handle forming parts 311, 321. After a tapes of fixed times, the slurry is discharged therefrom and a raw material molded body 9 of the handle 11 consisting of a moisture molding is formed in the mold 3. Immediately before mold releasing of the raw material molded body 9, the silicon rubber body 4 is extracted, thus forming on ornamental hole 110.

That is, the decorative hole has various shapes as described above, and the size thereof may be extremely small. Therefore 1
In a plaster mold, local water absorption imbalance tends to occur in each part of the decorative hole forming part. Further, if the decorative hole forming portion has a complicated shape or is too small to be scratched, it is extremely difficult to remove the decorative hole from the mold. Particularly in a one-gypsum mold, it is difficult to form a decorative hole with a steep end or an inverted tapered end.

Materials for the elastic rubber body include 2) silicone rubber, urethane rubber, acrylic rubber, and nitrile rubber. Among these, the above-mentioned Noricon rubber in particular has no water absorption, good drainage, and excellent water resistance, as well as excellent mold releasability, moldability, and stackability. Therefore, it has good dimensional stability and excellent durability. Furthermore, when using the above-mentioned porous plasti, it has water absorbency and excellent elasticity, so it is convenient for manufacturing thick molded products with large areas around decorative holes.

[Operations and Effects] In the first invention of the cast molding method, first, the elastic rubber body is inserted into the decorative hole forming portion of the mold. This is to form a base molded body having ornamental holes having substantially the same shape as the outer surface of the elastic rubber body. Then, pour the slurry of the ceramic base into the mold and drain it. As a result, a green molded body is obtained in the mold.

Thereafter, it is semi-dehydrated to a moisture content of 13 to 20%, preferably 15 to 18%. Thereafter, the elastic rubber body is extracted from the base molded body. As a result, a decorative hole is formed with high precision in the portion where the elastic rubber body was placed. That is, the decorative hole can be formed with high accuracy even if the peripheral edge of the decorative hole is a steep edge or an inversely tapered end.
