Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve safety by providing a means to transfer the water in one water tank to the other water tank so that bactericide can be effected in the other water tank, Which is empty, even if one water is in water feed state and the other water tank is empty. CONSTITUTION:A pair of water tanks 1, 2 having substantially same volume are provided and the water in one tank can be transferred to the other tank by means of a pump 3 and vice versa. When the tank 1 is in use and after certain period of time, the water remaining therein is transferred to the tank 2 through a changeover valve 5 to make the tank 1 empty, so that the tank 2 is used as a water feed tank. Thereafter, the inner wall of the tank 1, which is empty now, is dried to effect bactericide, in which prevention of growth of moss and alga is included. Further, the bactericide effect is enhanced by an ultraviolet lamp 4 provided on the top of the tank. As a result, safe and clean drinking water can always be supplied.

(Conventional technology and its issues) Traditionally, drinking water supply systems in apartment complexes and office buildings include a water tank that receives water from an external water supply facility, and a water tank that supplies water to each floor and each unit. A system consisting of an elevated water tank (this also includes a so-called relay tank) is used as a pre-stage water tank.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The architectural water supply device of the present invention has a pair of water tanks and means for transferring water from one of the tanks to the other tank,
It is characterized in that when one water tank is in a water supply state, the other water tank is in an empty state, and the inner wall of the empty water tank can be sterilized.

The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing an example of an elevated water tank as an example of the water supply device of the present invention. In the present invention, an elevated water tank refers not only to an elevated water tank in the narrow sense installed on or near the roof of an apartment building or office building, but also to a so-called relay water tank installed in the middle of a building, etc., above each floor or each unit where water is supplied. This includes an aquarium installed at the top.

One tank is used as before, and after a certain period of time, the remaining water in the tank (tank 1 in the figure) is transferred to the other tank and emptied.
The other party's water tank 2 is used as a water tank as before. In this way, the water tank used as the water tank is switched at regular intervals. The drying of the inner wall of an empty aquarium provides a sterilizing effect, including preventing the growth of moss and algae, but the sterilizing effect is further enhanced by using a sterilizing device such as an ultraviolet lamp.

The interval between changing the aquarium is about 1 day to 2 weeks, preferably about 3 to 6 days). If this interval is too long, moss and bacteria will grow inside the aquarium.

Sterilization of an empty aquarium by means of a sterilizer can be achieved, for example, by irradiating it with an ultraviolet lamp for a relatively short period of time at night. The processing time should be selected appropriately depending on the capacity of the sterilization equipment used.

As the sterilizing device, any known appropriate means other than an ultraviolet sterilizing device such as an ultraviolet lamp can be used as long as it is capable of suppressing the propagation of moss, algae, various germs, etc. For example, treatment with ozone is also effective.

It is also possible to irradiate an ultraviolet lamp or supply ozone for the purpose of improving the water quality in the aquarium during use. 9 in the figure is a float that indicates the water level, and normally water is supplied from the water tank so that the water level is always at this position. Note that FIG. 1 shows a state in which water from tank 1 is being transferred to tank 2. It is preferable that the rainwater tank is constructed as a substantially closed system except for air holes.
