Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the fear of the deterioration of pressure-sensitive adhesive layer due to the migration of additives such as plasticizer and the like and consequently facilitate the quality control after manufacturing by a method wherein polyvinyl chloride-based resin decorative sheet is stuck to laying surface by the exposed surface of pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:Prior to laying, polyvinyl chloride-based resin decorative sheet 4 and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 and separated from each other. At laying, firstly, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is stuck to face 1 to be laid so as to stick the polyvinyl chloride-based resin resin decorative sheet 4 to the exposed surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2. Or, at laying, firstly, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is stuck to one side of the polyvinyl chloride-based resin decorative sheet 4 and, after that, the polyvinyl chloride- based resin decorative sheet 4 is stuck to the face 1 to be laid by the exposed surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 1.

Conventionally, for the interior decoration of buildings, vinyl chloride resin decorative sheets (hereinafter simply referred to as vinyl chloride sheets) that have been colored, printed, embossed, etc. are pasted on walls and other surfaces. PVC sheets for wall coverings and facings that are commonly used today are pre-tacked. Tack processing refers to forming an adhesive layer on one side of a PVC sheet and laminating a separator on the layer. This tack-processed PVC sheet is constructed by peeling off the separator at the construction site and pasting the adhesive side onto a wall surface, etc., and is widely used because of its easy construction.

However, in such tack-processed PVC sheets, plasticizers and other additives added to the PVC migrate into the adhesive layer over time, degrading the adhesive performance of the adhesive.

Currently, this type of tack sheet is generally produced in small lots of a wide variety of products, and after receiving an order for the product, tack processing must be performed and the product shipped within a short period of time, and manufacturers are struggling to meet delivery dates. There is.

Furthermore, in construction using conventional tack sheets, if the construction surface is rough, a smoothing process such as putty treatment or primer treatment is required. In such a case, there are problems such as an increase in the number of work steps, making it complicated, and a long work time, so improvements are desired.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for constructing a PVC sheet that solves the above-mentioned problems with the PVC tack sheet, allows easy storage of the product, facilitates quality control, and can be carried out using simple means. That's true.

In order to achieve the above object, the present inventor conducted extensive research and departed from the idea of using a tack-processed PVC sheet, which has been common knowledge in this technical field, and, on the contrary, developed a method using a PVC sheet and an adhesive. It has been found that the above object can be achieved by separating the adhesive layer until construction is completed and then applying the adhesive layer to the construction surface or PVC sheet at the construction site.

The present invention is based on this knowledge, and in a method of applying a decorative sheet using an adhesive layer, the vinyl chloride resin decorative sheet and the adhesive layer are separated until installation, and at the time of installation, first of all, After applying the adhesive layer to the surface to be applied, the vinyl chloride resin decorative sheet is applied to the exposed surface of the adhesive layer, or the vinyl chloride resin decorative sheet is first applied to the exposed surface of the adhesive layer. This method of constructing a decorative sheet is characterized in that after an adhesive layer is attached to one side, the vinyl chloride resin decorative sheet is attached to the construction surface using the exposed surface of the adhesive layer.

The adhesive layer is preferably used as a so-called double-sided adhesive sheet, and in this case, it is particularly preferable to have a support layer as an intermediate layer. Preferably, the support layer is fabric or foam. By using a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet having this type of support layer, the smoothing step can be omitted even when applying to rough surfaces.

(2) Adhesive layer The thickness of the adhesive layer used in conventional products is 10-1
008m1 is generally 25 to 60 μm in particular, and an adhesive layer having this general thickness can be used in the present invention. However, in order to improve adhesion to rough surfaces, the thickness of the adhesive layer is preferably 100 μm or more. If the adhesive layer alone constitutes a thick film of 100 μm or more, adhesive physical properties such as holding power will deteriorate, so it is particularly advantageous to use a suitable support layer as an intermediate layer. For this reason, as the support layer of the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, for example, a flat fiber structure such as paper, nonwoven fabric, cloth, knitted fabric, etc., as well as a film, foam, etc. can be used. As a method for forming the foam layer, it is desirable to form an adhesive layer on a separator, further coat a foamable resin layer thereon, and then foam the foamable resin layer. The reason is that when a foamed resin sheet is used, the tension and
This is because it tends to stretch or swell due to the effects of heat, solvents, etc., and it is difficult to coat and dry adhesive on top of it. As the foamable resin, a liquid composition is used in which a foaming agent such as water, sodium bicarbonate, azodicarbonamide, or oxybisbenzenesulfonyl hydrazide is added to the resin composition such as the polyurethane, and foaming is performed by heating. is preferred. In order to keep the thickness of the foam at a constant value, a separator is layered on top of the foamable resin coating, and after being pressed with a roller plate with a certain gap, the separator is heated and foamed. It is recommended to release the mold.

Even when there is no intermediate support layer, the thickness of the adhesive layer is 10 to 100 mm as in the conventional case when sticking to a smooth construction surface.
It may be μm. However, it is preferable to use a double-sided adhesive sheet provided with an intermediate support layer as described above, in which case the thickness of the adhesive layer facing the PVC sheet side and the construction side may each generally be about 25 to 60 μm. In addition, the total thickness of the adhesive layer depends on the roughness of the construction surface.

b) Adhesive sheet A double-sided separator 64GPS (S) manufactured by Honshu Paper Industries was coated with adhesive 1310 (acrylic, containing 1.6% isocyanate) manufactured by Soken Chemical Co., Ltd. to a thickness of 45 μm. A foamable urethane prepolymer was applied to the adhesive layer of the same sheet prepared in the same manner so that the foaming ratio after drying was 15 times and the film thickness was 2 mm, and the prepolymer was cured to 71-future. Next, after laminating the previous adhesive sheet on this prepolymer layer, the prepolymer was foamed by sandwiching it between mirror plates with a gap corresponding to the thickness of the foam layer of 2M.
It was pressed to a constant thickness while heating at C.

[Effects of the Invention] According to the method of the present invention, since the PVC sheet and the adhesive are brought into contact for the first time at the construction site, there is no risk of deterioration of the adhesive layer due to migration of plasticizers and other additives, and it is not possible to use the conventional PVC sheet. Compared to tack sheets, it eliminates the complexity of the manufacturing process due to its ability to handle a wide variety of products in small lots, and it also makes quality control after manufacturing easier, and it also has the advantage of omitting the process of smoothing the construction surface. It is extremely useful industrially.
