[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a drying device for collating glue for zigzag-folded copy-type continuous slips used in electronic computers.

Since the printing machines of microelectronic computers, which have been rapidly increasing in number recently, are small, the radius of curvature of the traveling path is small when feeding a copy-type continuous slip. Since the paper is fed using rubber roller wheels, an unreasonable running force is applied to the topmost sheet of the copy-type continuous slip, resulting in a misalignment between it and the second sheet in the running direction. may occur.

Therefore, the crimp method, which has been widely used in the past, has a weak binding effect when binding continuous copies of continuous slips, so the topmost sheet of paper tends to peel off and move forward, causing misalignment in the copy position. It was hot.

Therefore, at present, a glue binding method is often used in which the binding between the rotary sheets of a copy-type continuous slip is performed using glue applied linearly in the paper feeding direction.

However, when the above-mentioned glue-stitched continuous copies are collated using a collating machine and successively zigzag folded using a folding machine, the glue that is continuously applied in a linear manner between each rotary paper forms. Since the paper is folded in a zigzag pattern by the folding machine before it is sufficiently dry, as shown in Figure 5, the paper on the inside of the folded slip in the direction of the fold dries with force acting in the direction of the arrow, resulting in printing. When the slip is passed through the printing machine, the outer side in the folding direction is lifted up like a tent, as shown in FIG. 6, and this often causes trouble on the printing machine.

Currently, in order to solve the above problem, the glue is infrared rays,
Drying methods such as long-wavelength heat rays such as a magnetron have been used, but none of them have yielded good results because there is no way for the moisture in the glue inside the stacked rotary papers to escape.

In the figure, 1 is a collating machine that collates multiple sheets of rotary paper 2a, 2b, . . . , and 3 and 3 are these rotary paper 2a,
This is a gluing device that applies collating glue in a linear manner between 2b, . Reference numeral 4 denotes a collating glue drying device according to the present invention, which is disposed between the collating machine 1 and a folding machine (not shown). It consists of a connected discharge electrode 6 and a counter electrode 7 that faces the discharge electrode 6, and these electrodes 6, 7 are spaced approximately at the same distance as the overlapping thickness of the rotary paper 2a, 2b, . . . They are spaced apart and facing each other, and are provided at positions corresponding to the linear glue application portions. Both electrodes 6, 7
Two sets are provided in the running direction of the rotary paper 2a, 2b, . The counter electrode 7 is grounded. Both electrodes are made of tungsten and have a diameter of 1.5 to 2 mm and a length of
It has a needle shape of about 30mm. Each electrode 6, 7 is held by a cover 8 made of an insulator, for example, acrylic.

In the above configuration, each rotary paper 2a, 2b,...
As the paper runs, collating glue 9, 9 is linearly applied between each rotary paper 2a, 2b, . On the other hand, at this time, by turning on the switch of the high voltage charging device 5 and applying a high voltage to the discharge electrode 6,
Corona discharge occurs from this discharge electrode 6 toward the counter electrode 7. Then, the linear collation glue 9 application section passes through this corona discharge section, and as shown in FIGS. , the surrounding glue 9 is dried almost instantaneously by the heat generated by this corona discharge.

In addition, in the above embodiment, both the electrodes 6 and 7 of the corona generating device were needle-shaped, but as shown in FIG. It is also possible to have a configuration in which they are opposed to each other, one of which is connected to the charging device 5, and the other is grounded. In this case, corona discharge occurs at the closest portion between the opposing electrodes.
