Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated film using a small amt. of adhesive with a pref. adhesive strength by applying the adhesive in a spot-like state and placing a space uncoated with the adhesive between the spots of the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The first film 1 is coated with an adhesive 3 in a spot-like state by using a roll on the surface of which cells 4, e.g. with a diameter of 0.2mm and a depth of 95mum, are arranged at a distance of 0.34mm. Then, the second film 2 is bonded therewith. On the obtd. laminated film, the adhesive parts are extended by pressing and the same adhering effect as the conventional one is obtd. by using a small amt. of the adhesive. The adhesive is extended 3-4-fold of the cell area by applying the adhesive in a spot-like state using a roll having fine recessed parts 4 (cells) to increase adhering area. Even if a small amt. of the adhesive is uniformly distributed, enough adhesive strength can be obtd. In addition, even lf spaces 5 uncoated with the adhesive 3 exist, if they exist uniformly and are finely divided, enough adhesive strength can be obtd.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a method for laminating existing films, and in particular, when laminating breathable films, the same method can be achieved without impairing the air permeability and using a small amount of adhesive. The present invention relates to a lamination method that can obtain various physical properties.

[Prior Art] In recent years, demands on various physical properties of films have become increasingly strict, and in order to meet these demands, laminated films made of two or more types of films are often used. As a lamination method, there is a method of co-extruding two or more resins in the presence or absence of an adhesive, but it is generally called dry lamination, in which a film that has already been formed is bonded together using an adhesive. There is a way. In this method, adhesive is applied to the entire adhesive surface of one film, and then applied to the other film.

This is a method of laminating films by pressing them. In applying the adhesive, the adhesive was applied to the entire surface of one of the films using a roll having, for example, 140 mesh cells and a mesh cell depth of about 75 μm.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventional dry lamination methods apply adhesive to the entire surface. Gender is lost. Therefore, there was a need for a technology to laminate each film while maintaining its breathability. Furthermore, since a large amount of adhesive is consumed, the cost of the adhesive in the product increases, and there has been a need for a technique for obtaining a laminated film with preferable adhesive strength using a small amount of adhesive.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention aims to solve the above problems, and has a structure in which, in a laminated film in which two or more types of films are bonded together with an adhesive, the adhesive is applied in dots. , is characterized in that there is a non-adhesive area between each adhesive point.

The film used in the present invention is not limited to synthetic resin films such as polyester, linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), stretched polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, and polystyrene, but also includes all film-like materials such as aluminum foil, paper, and nonwoven fabric. The films to be laminated are not limited to single-layer films, but can also be applied to films that have already been laminated, and the method of the present invention can be repeated two or more times to obtain a film with three or more layers. Further, the adhesive is not particularly limited as long as it can bond these together.

As for the method of applying the adhesive, it is preferable to use a roll having minute depressions (cells) on the entire surface, such as those used in an intaglio printing press. When this roll is dipped into the adhesive layer, the cells are filled with adhesive. Next, the adhesive in areas other than the cells is removed using a doctor blade or the like, and the adhesive is transferred to a film. The diameter of the cell is 0.05-1 mm, preferably 0.1-0.5 mm. If the cell diameter exceeds 1 mm, the laminated films will become uneven and the transparency will be impaired. The area occupied by the cells on the roll surface is 1/2 to 1150, preferably 1/6 to 1/2
It is about 0. If it is 1/2 or more, the adhesive will spread over the entire surface when the other film is attached, and no adhesive-unapplied areas will remain. However, even in such a case, it has the effect of halving the amount of adhesive applied. If it is less than 1150, the adhesive strength decreases.

When other films are laminated to a film coated with adhesive dotted in this way, the pressure applied during lamination expands the adhesive application area by 3 to 4 times, and the amount of adhesive used is reduced compared to conventional films. The adhesive strength is 115 to 1/20 of that of the conventional technique, and the bonding strength is equivalent to that of the conventional bonding technique, even though there remain areas where no adhesive is applied.

The present invention uses a roll having minute depressions (cells) to apply adhesive in dots, thereby spreading the adhesive to an area three to four times larger than the actual size of the cells, increasing the actual adhesive area. There is. It has been found that even if a smaller amount of adhesive is applied than in the conventional method, sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained if the areas where the adhesive is applied to a sufficient thickness are uniformly dispersed.
