Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable execution of a simple work without adhering a protection material (tile) to a waterproof sheet by a method wherein an expandable stopper comprises a flat plateform part, a rise part, a bellows part, and a presser part 34 positioned facing the rise part, all formed of synthetic resin or rubber. CONSTITUTION:An expandable stopper part comprises a flat plateform part 31, a rise part 32, a bellows part 33, and a presser part 34, positioned facing the rise part 32, all formed of synthetic resin or rubber. In this case, it is preferable that a drain hole is formed in the flat part 31 and/or the rise part 32 and an adhesive layer 4 is formed on the under surface of the flat plateform part 31. A water sheet 2 is laid on a foundation concrete floor 1 for terrace or veranda, tiles 5 made of synthetic resin are placed thereon, and adhesion of the titles to each other is effected at 6. An expandable stopper is adhered on the outer part of the terrace or the veranda to the waterproof sheet 2 in a state that the presser part 34 of an expandable stopper is brought into contact with a tile end part 7. This constitution prevents displacement and thrust up of a tile and besides facilitates repair of the waterproof sheet.

A waterproof layer formed by pasting a PVC-based waterproof sheet or painting a waterproof material such as polyurethane is inherently undesirable for people to walk on. Especially if the lower layer is concrete, make sure that cracks in the concrete do not directly lead to cutting of the waterproof layer.

Since it is constructed in a so-called insulated state, floating above the underlying concrete layer, it is disliked that pressure is applied locally from above the concrete layer.

On the other hand, conventional technology involves placing artificial grass or rocking tiles on top of the waterproof layer, but it is difficult to remove dirt and cleaning. Since individual tiles each having several legs are placed in a locked position, the contact area with the tarpaulin sheet is small, so the load concentrates locally, causing damage to the tarpaulin sheet. Another problem is that when a protective sheet is adhered to a tarpaulin sheet, it becomes difficult to repair the tarpaulin sheet.

The material of the elastic stopper of the present invention is such that even if the tile is slightly shifted toward the outside of the terrace, or in some cases toward the inside, due to a person walking on the tile or the expansion and contraction of the tile itself, the material of the elastic stopper is Since the bellows-like portion exhibits elasticity, any synthetic resin, natural or synthetic rubber that meets the purpose of use can be used. Synthetic resins include polyethylene, polypropylene, soft polyvinyl chloride, polyester, A
Examples of synthetic rubber include BS.
In addition to general-purpose materials such as R and polyisoprene, styrene-

The tiles and tarpaulin are left substantially unadhered. Therefore, there is no problem in repairing the tarpaulin. However, if the elastic stopper alone cannot prevent the tiles from shifting due to walking or wind, etc., it is okay to glue the tiles on the room side to the tarpaulin sheet as desired.

Set the elastic stop bar on the outside of the tile terrace. The elastic stopper is 1 e.g. Fig. 1 A and B.
It has the shape shown in . The elastic stopper 3 is adhered onto the waterproof sheet 2 with adhesive 4 by applying the restraining part 34 to the edge of the tile and pressing the tile slightly against the inside of the terrace. Misalignment of the tile group caused by walking or the like is absorbed by the bellows-shaped part 33, which is the stretchable part of the stretchable stopper.
