ジセンサと、前記一次元イーメージセンサの読取
りデータのシエーデイングの測定に用いられる無
画像一様色の標準原稿と、前記標準原稿を複数の
反射鏡により形成された光路を介して前記一次元
イメージセンサにより読取つて得た読取りデータ
に基づいてシエーデイング補正用データを形成す
る手段と、原稿画像を前記一次元イメージサンサ
により読取つて得た読取りデータのシエーデイン
グを前記形成手段からのシエーデイング信号用デ
ータに基づいてシエーデイング補正する信号処理
手段を有する画像読取装置において、 シエーデイング補正用データを形成する手段は
、一次元イメージサンサからの読取りデータの高
域成分を除去して急峻な変化を取り除き、その読
取りデータを平滑するローパスフイルタと、標準
原稿を読取つて得た読取りデータを、前記ローパ
スフイルタを用いてその高域成分を除去して得た
標準原稿読取りデータの少なくとも１ライン分を
記憶する標準原稿読取りデータ記憶手段と、予め
測定して取得しておいた一次元イメージサンサの
各受光部毎の受光感度に係る感度ムラを表わす受
光感度データを格納しておく感度補正データ記憶
手段と、標準原稿読取りデータと受光感度データ
よりシエーデイング補正用データを作成し、その
データを再度前記標準原稿読取りデータ記憶手段
に記憶するようにしたコントロール回路とより成
り、このシエーデイング補正用データにより原稿
読取時のシエーデイング補正を行なうようにした

A low-pass filter removes high-frequency components of the data, removes sharp changes, and smoothes the read data, and the low-pass filter removes high-frequency components of the read data obtained by reading a standard document. A standard original reading data storage means for storing at least one line of the obtained standard original reading data, and a light receiving unit that represents sensitivity unevenness related to the light receiving sensitivity of each light receiving part of the one-dimensional image sensor, which has been measured and acquired in advance. Sensitivity correction data storage means for storing sensitivity data, and a control circuit that creates shading correction data from standard original reading data and light reception sensitivity data and stores the data in the standard original reading data storage means again. An image reading apparatus characterized in that the shading correction data is used to perform shading correction when reading a document.
