画像一様色の標準原稿と、前記標準原稿を複数の
反射鏡により形成された光路を介して前記一次元
イメージセンサにより読取つて得た読取りデータ
に基づいてシエーデイング補正用データを形成す
る手段と、原稿画像を前記一次元イメージサンサ
により読取つて得た読取りデータのシエーデイン
グを前記形成手段からのシエーデイング信号用デ
ータに基づいてシエーデイング補正する信号処理
手段を有する画像読取装置において、 シエーデイング補正用データを形成する手段は
、一次元イメージサンサからの読取りデータの高
域成分を除去して急峻な変化を取り除き、その読
取りデータを平滑するローパスフイルタと、標準
原稿を読取つて得た読取りデータを、前記ローパ
スフイルタを用いてその高域成分を除去して得た
標準原稿読取りデータの少なくとも1ライン分を
記憶する標準原稿読取りデータ記憶手段と、予め
測定して取得しておいた一次元イメージサンサの
各受光部毎の受光感度に係る感度ムラを表わす受
光感度データを格納しておく感度補正データ記憶
手段と、標準原稿読取りデータと受光感度データ
よりシエーデイング補正用データを作成し、その
データを再度前記標準原稿読取りデータ記憶手段
に記憶するようにしたコントロール回路とより成
り、このシエーデイング補正用データにより原稿
読取時のシエーデイング補正を行なうようにした
ことを特徴とする画像読取装置。
