を光学レンズを介して多数の感光素子を1列に並
べてなるラインセンサに結像して基準色データを
得、その基準色データに基いて前記ラインセンサ
の各感光素子の出力レベル補正を行ない、その後
前記光源から原稿に光を照射し、その反射光を前
記光学レンズを介して前記ラインセンサに結像し
て画像読取りを行なう画像読取り装置において、
前記原稿を前記光学レンズの焦点位置に対置させ
るとともに前記基準色を前記光学レンズの焦点位
置よりずらした位置に対置させる手段を設けたこ
とを特徴とする画像読取り装置。 (2) 光源から基準色に光を照射し、その反射光
を光学レンズを介して多数の感光素子を1列に並
べてなるラインセンサに結像して基準色データを
得、その基準色データに基いて前記ラインセンサ
の各感光素子の出力レベル補正を行ない、その後

せる手段と、前記第1の基準色を読取つて得られ
る前記ラインセンサ出力に前記第2の基準色を読
取つて得られる前記ラインセンサ出力が一致する
ように前記光源の光量を自動調整する光量調整回
路を設けたことを特徴とする画像読取り装置。
