(Prior art and its problems) Conventionally, in this type of washing machine, the amount of water (water level) was determined empirically by the user based on the amount of laundry, so it was easy to have too much or too little water. If the amount of water is small, fabric stains will occur, and if there is a large amount of water, there will be problems such as wasted water consumption.

However, recently, various methods have been proposed that automatically determine the amount of laundry and set the water amount and water flow in the rinsing process to the appropriate water amount and water flow. Once water has been supplied to the lowest water level, the pulsator is rotated and the average value of the current flowing through the motor at that time is determined. Based on this average value, the need for additional water supply is determined, and if necessary, additional water is supplied to the next water level. A method has been proposed in which the need for additional water supply is determined by the above-mentioned operation and the appropriate water level (water amount) is finally obtained, but the control is extremely complex and difficult from a technical and cost perspective. Therefore, it lacked practicality.

FIG. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a fully automatic washing machine according to an embodiment of the present invention. In Fig. 2, 1 is the main body of the washing machine, 2 is an outer tank suspended by a suspension 3, and 4 is a washing/dehydration tank (hereinafter referred to as a dehydration tank) for washing clothes. It has a hole 5 for draining water. Reference numeral 6 denotes a pulsator for stirring clothes, which is arranged at the inner bottom of the dehydration tank 4. 7
8 is a mechanical case with a built-in brake/clutch mechanism and deceleration mechanism, and 8 is a motor that rotates in forward and reverse directions repeatedly during the washing and rinsing processes to drive the pulsator 6, and rotates in one direction during dehydration to spin the dehydration tank 4. do. The rotational movement is transmitted through the mechanical case 7 to the pulsator 6 and the dehydration tank 4.
can be conveyed to. 9 Wash and rinse with the drain valve,
Closed during water supply. A drainage path 10 is formed between the drainage valve 9 and the bottom surface of the outer tank.
is a drain hose connected to the drain valve 9, 12 is a pulse generator that detects the rotation speed of the dehydration tank, and to explain it a little more, a cylindrical permanent magnet fixed to a shaft connected to the dehydration tank; A power generation coil wound into a cylindrical shape with a predetermined gap around the outer periphery of the permanent magnet, and a magnetic shielding body provided in the gap between the permanent magnet and the power generation coil to partially block the magnetic force of the permanent magnet. It is structured accordingly. As is conventionally known, the pulse generator 12 having such a configuration
When the dehydration tank shaft rotates, the permanent magnet fixed to the dehydration tank shaft also rotates, so a sinusoidal current is induced in the generator coil in accordance with the rotation of the permanent magnet, and this is electrically processed and removed. When the aquarium shaft rotates, a pulsed electrical signal is output in synchronization with this rotation.
Since the pulse generator 12 is disposed directly on the dehydration tank axis of the mechanical case 7, which is mostly made of metal, assembly precision is high and workability is easy. The structure allows for stable detection. Also, the first
The figure is a block diagram showing the control system. In the same figure, 13 is a rotation detector which converts the output of the pulse generator 12 into the number of rotations per minute (rpm) of the dehydration tank 4 and outputs the output when a predetermined number of rotations S is reached, 14 is a sequence control unit, and 15 is a rotation detector. A motor control section 16 controls the motor 8, a water supply valve control section 16 controls the water supply valve 17, and a water level detection device 18 detects the level of supplied water.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the relationship between the elapsed time of dehydration and the rotation speed of the dehydration tank.
The load on the motor is small and the rotational speed reaches the saturation rotational speed M in a short time T1 . On the other hand, B indicates a case where the amount of laundry is large or the laundry is heavy due to its high water content, and the load on the motor is large and it takes a considerably long time T 2 for the rotation speed to reach the saturation rotation speed M.
Therefore, by measuring the time from the start of rotation of the dehydration tank until it reaches a predetermined rotation speed S, the weight and moisture content of the laundry can be determined from that time, and the relationship between the two is as shown in Figure 4. There is a proportional relationship.

Also, in this Figure 4, the proportionality coefficient differs depending on the type of cloth, and the time t (time to reach the predetermined rotation speed S) for the same amount of cloth is longer for Momen, which contains more water, than for synthetic fiber. I know it will be long. On the other hand, it is known that the fabric circumference for the same amount of fabric (the way the fabric moves in response to the same water flow) is worse for pomegranate fibers that contain a lot of water than for synthetic fibers. This allows you to know the type of cloth and its circumference. There is a close correlation between fabric circumference and water level, and the water level for the same amount of fabric needs to be higher for noodles with poor fabric circumference than for synthetic fibers.

As can be seen from the above, by counting the time t from the start of dehydration (motor drive start) until reaching a predetermined rotation speed S, and setting the water level based on the length of the time t, An appropriate water level can be obtained for the amount and type of laundry.

Next, Figure 5 is a diagram showing the relationship between the amount of cloth and the amount of detergent contained in the cloth. From this figure, it can be seen that the amount of detergent contained in cloth is proportional to the amount of cloth, and that it differs depending on the type of cloth. As you can see, for example, the amount of detergent contained in the same amount of cloth is higher for Japanese noodles than for synthetic fibers. Then,
From Figure 5 and Figure 4 above, it can be seen that there is a correlation between the length of time t and the amount of detergent contained in the cloth. It is possible to detect the water temperature and, by extension, to know the appropriate water flow.

Now, when the washing process and the draining process are completed and the process moves to the intermediate dehydration process, the sequence control unit 20 outputs an ON signal to the motor control unit 17 to drive the motor 6, rotate the dehydration tank 2, and wash the laundry. While starting dehydration, start the timer and check the elapsed time T.
starts counting, and waits until the next signal is output from the rotation detector 13. When the rotational speed of the dehydration tank 2 increases and eventually reaches a predetermined rotational speed S, and there is an output from the rotation detection air 13, the timer data T at this time is read out and stored as time t.

When the intermediate dehydration step is completed, the previously stored time t is read out, and the water level and water flow in the next rinsing step are set by comparing this time t with the determination values A to E. Move on to the next rinsing process. Therefore, the rinsing process is carried out at the previously set water level and water flow, and the water level and water flow are appropriate for the amount and type of laundry, so as not to cause the fabric to become stale, not to be rinsed properly, or to waste water. This eliminates the problem of

For example, if the time t is long and larger than the judgment value E, the amount of laundry is large, the fabric has poor circulation, and the laundry is like noodles that contain a large amount of detergent. Run the rinse;
If the time t is extremely short and smaller than the judgment value A, the amount of laundry to be washed is small, and the fabric has a good circumference and is made of synthetic fibers with a low detergent content, so it should be rinsed with a weak water stream at a low water level. In either case, a sufficient rinsing effect can be obtained.

In addition, in the above embodiment, both the water level and water flow in the rinsing process are automatically set based on the time from the start of intermediate dehydration until reaching a predetermined rotation speed, but only one of them is automatically set. You may also do so.
