Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 液晶ライトバルブで形成した画像を照明光
学系により照明し、この画像を投写レンズによつ
てスクリーンに拡大投写する液晶プロジエクタに
おいて、 前記照明光学系の光源として、メタルハライド
ランプによるメイン光源と、始動特性および再始
動特性の早い始動時および再始動時用の補助光源
との２つの光源を設けたことを特徴とする液晶プ
ロジエクタ。 (2) 電源投入時に、前記メイン光源のメタルハ
ライドランプが点灯安定状態となる一定時間経過
後に前記補助光源が自動的にオフとなるようにし
たことを特徴とする請求項１記載の液晶プロジエ
クタ。 (3) 一たん電源を切つた後まもなくの再電源投
入時に、前記メイン光源のメタルハライドランプ
が再点灯安定状態となる一定時間経過後に前記補
助光源が自動的にオフとなるようにしたことを特
徴とする請求項１記載の液晶プロジエクタ。
