Claims (1)
離隔させるためのヘツド接離機構と、インクフイ
ルム巻取可能な巻取芯を有するインクフイルム送
り機構とを備えたサーマルプリンタにおいて、 前記ヘツド接離機構を、前記サーマルヘツドを
1点を中心として回動させて前記プラテンに対し
て圧接・離隔させることが可能なヘツド支持部材
と、このヘツド支持部材と係合して当該ヘツド支
持部材を回動させることが可能な係合部材と、こ
の係合部材を駆動するための駆動軸とを含み形成
し、 前記インクフイルム送り機構の巻取芯および前
記ヘツド接離機構の駆動軸のいずれをも回転駆動
可能な駆動モータを設け、 前記駆動モータからの動力を前記巻取芯および
前記駆動軸のいずれか一方に選択的に伝達する選
択切替手段を設けたことを特徴とするサーマルプ
リンタ。 (2) 前記選択切替手段を、前記駆動モータが正
転するときの動力のみを伝達する第1のワンウエ
イクラツチ部材と、前記駆動モータが逆転すると
きの動力のみを伝達する第2のワンウエイクラツ
チ部材とを備え、両ワンウエイクラツチ部材のい
ずれか一方を用いて前記巻取芯と前記駆動モータ
とを連結し、他方のワンウエイクラツチ部材を用
いて前記駆動軸と前記駆動モータとを連結し、前
記駆動モータの回転方向を切り替えることにより
当該駆動モータからの動力を当該巻取芯および駆
動軸のいずれか一方に選択的に伝達するように形
成したことを特徴とする請求項第1項記載のサー
