(発明の構成) 本発明の磁気記録再生装置は、上記のような回
転ヘツド型ヘリカルスキヤン方式の磁気記録再生
装置において、ヘツドチツプのギヤツプを形成す
る合わせ面下端(コイル巻回用の孔の少なくとも
テープ摺動面側の一部)に、剛性接着剤を被着し
たことを特徴とするものである。この剛性接着剤
は剛性が大きく弾性領域をほとんど有しない素材
よりなりこの弾性変形を起こさない性質のため振
動を抑制する効果があり、上記のようにヘツドチ
ツプの一部に該剛性接着剤を被着すると、磁気ヘ
ツドチツプの振動が抑制されて摺動ノイズが低減
され、しかもチツプの剛性が向上する。

(実施例) 第1図は本発明の一実施例によるヘリカルスキ
ヤン方式の磁気記録再生記録装置の回転ヘツドを
示すものであり、また第2図はこの回転ヘツドに
取付けられた磁気ヘツドチツプを拡大して示すも
のである。回転ヘツド10は円筒状の回転シリン
ダ11に、一例として2個の磁気ヘツドチツプ1
2,12が搭載されてなる。これら磁気ヘツドチ
ツプ12,12は単結晶フエライトから形成さ
れ、ほぼ中央の巻線窓12aを介してコイル15
が巻回されてそれぞれチツプ台13,13に固定
され、これらのチツプ台13,13がビス14,
14によつて回転シリンダ11に取付けられてい
る。前記磁気ヘツドチツプ12に形成された前記
コイル15巻回用の巻線窓12aのテープ摺動面
12bに近い一端には剛性接着剤16が充填被着
されている。なお、ここでは、剛性接着剤として
石膏を用いた。この剛性接着剤16はチツプ12
の製造後充填被着される。標準的なVHS型ビデ
オテープレコーダ(松下電器産業(株)製NV−
3500N)の磁気ヘツドチツプ12に、上記剛性接
着剤16を被着し、該ビデオテープレコーダに良
く消磁した標準タイプのビデオテープ(富士写真
フイルム(株)製T−120E)を装着して再生モード
に設定し、再生プリアンプの出力信号の摺動ノイ
ズを測定した。その結果を第3図において実線で
示す。また比例として、上記ビデオテープレコー
ダの磁気ヘツド12に剛性接着剤16を被着しな
い通常のチツプを用いた場合について同様の測定
を行つた結果を第3図において破線で示す。(な
おこの第3図に示す測定結果は、アンプのノイズ
を差し引いたものである。) 上記第3図に明確に示されるように、剛性接着
剤16を被着した柔気ヘツドチツプ12を用いた
本発明によるビデオテープレコーダにおいては、
比例に比べ摺動ノイズが1〜2dB程度低減されて
いる。
