Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 この発明は、液体飲料のような内容物の充填されたチュ
ーブ状包装材料を容器１つ分に相当する長さ毎に横断状
にヒートシールする装置に関する。
従来の技術 この種の装置として、一対の加圧部材の一方の加圧面に
、アルミニウム箔層を有するヒートシール性紙主体積層
体製チューブ状包装材料の横断状切断予定部の両側を、
これらにそってそれぞれ加熱するための互いに平行にの
びた２つの真直部を有するＵ字状高周波コイルが備えら
れているものは周知である。
そして、高周波コイルから発生する磁力線を２つの真直
部の内側に集中させて磁力線の有効利用を図るために、
２つの真直部の内側全体または局部的に磁性体が配置さ
れているものも知られている（特公昭５５−３２１５号
公報および特開昭６２−５２０２５号公報参照）。
また、２つの真直部に、これらのほぼ全長にわたっての
びた夾雑物排除用水平突条がそれぞれ設けられているも
のも知られている（特開昭５８−１３４７４４号公報参
照）。
発明か解決しようとする課題 上記磁性体を用いた装置では、第１０図に示すように、
チューブ状包装材料Ｔのシール部５１の容器内側となる
縁部に、波打った溶融樹脂ビード５２ができる。このよ
うなビード５２ができると、容器に外力が掛かった場合
、ビード５２の波の谷山の部分から亀裂が入り、容器が
破れるという問題点がある。上記のようなヒート５２が
できる原因としては、２つの真直部の内側に配置された
磁性体では、磁力線の有効利用は図れるが、２つの真直
部の外側に磁力線が拡散することは防止できず、２つの
真直部の外側の部分が不必要な温度まで加熱されるから
であると考えられる。
また、上記夾雑物排除用水平突条を設けた装置では、突
条により、シール部が全長にわたって強圧されるが、シ
ール部の全長にわたって均一に強圧することはできない
。なぜならば、チューブのシール部はその全長にわたっ
て包装材料の厚さが一定でなく、チューブの中央部には
継ぎ目が存在するし、チューブの両縁部にはチューブの
表側と裏側の連結部が存在する。とくに、チューブの継
ぎ目の部分では、包装材料が３倍厚となって重なってい
て他の部分より厚くなっているため、必要以上に加圧さ
れてその部分では包装材料の紙層が割れるという問題点
がある。
この発明の目的は、上記問題点を解決したチューブ状包
装材料のヒートシール装置を提供することにある。
課題を解決するための手段 この発明によるチューブ状包装材料のヒートシール装置
は、一対の加圧部材の一方の加圧面に、アルミニウム箔
層を有するヒートシール性紙主体積層体製チューブ状包
装材料の横断状切断予定部の両側を、これらにそってそ
れぞれ加熱するための互いに平行にのびた２つの真直部
を有するＵ字状高周波コイルが備えられている、チュー
ブ状包装材料のヒートシール装置において、２つの真直
部のそれぞれ外側に、これらのほぼ全長にわたってのび
た２つの帯状磁性体が配置され、２つの真直部の全長の
うち、チューブの両縁部をそれぞれ強圧すべき４か所に
、真直部の長さ方向にのびた突条がそれぞれ設けられ、
突条の横断面輪郭が円弧状となされていることを特徴と
するものである。
作　　用 この発明によるチューブ状包装材料のヒートシール装置
では、２つの真直部のそれぞれ外側に、これらのほぼ全
長にわたってのびた２つの帯状磁性体が配置されている
から、２つの真直部から発生する磁力線が２つの真直部
の外側に拡散されようとしても、磁性体により内向きに
屈折される。
さらに、２つの真直部の全長のうち、チューブの両縁部
をそれぞれ強圧すべき４か所に、真直部の長さ方向にの
びた突条がそれぞれ設けられているから、チューブの両
縁部のみが局部的に強圧される。
また、突条の横断面輪郭が円弧状となされているから、
局部的強圧部、すなわちチューブ両縁部において包装材
料の紙層が破れることもない。
実　　施　　例 この発明の実施例を、図面を参照してつぎに説明する。
チューブ状包装材料Ｔは、ウェッブＷの一方の縁部内面
と他方の縁部外面を重ね合わせてヒートシールすること
により形成されたものであり、ウェッブＷは、第４図に
示すように、容器の外となる側より順次、外ポリエチレ
ン層１１、紙層１２、接着剤層１３、アルミニウム箔層
１４および内ポリエチレン層１５で一体的に構成された
積層体製である。
ヒートシール装置は、第５図に示すように、一対の揺動
自在アーム２１．２２の上部に向き合うように固定され
た一対の加圧部材２３．２４を備えている。
一方の加圧部材２３は、詳しく図示しないが、チューブ
をシールと同時に切断するためのカッタを備えているが
、この一方の加圧部材２３はこの発明と重要な関係が無
いため、以下、他方の加圧部材２４についてのみ説明す
る。
他方の加圧部材２４は、そのほぼ全体かエポキシ樹脂の
ような電気絶縁材料で形成されている。
この加圧部材２４には、第１図に示すように、互いに平
行にのびた２つの真直部２５．２６を有する銅製Ｕ字状
高周波コイル２７および２つの帯状ないし板状のフェラ
イト製磁性体２８が備えられている。
加圧部材２４の加圧面３１の高さの中程にコイル挿入Ｕ
字溝３２が形成されるとともに、Ｕ字溝３２の２つの真
直部２５．２６の外縁に接するように２つの磁性体挿入
両端開放直線溝３３が形成されている。また、Ｕ字溝の
内側にはカッタ挿入用直線溝３４か形成されている。
高周波コイル２７は、第２図に詳しく示すように、内部
を冷却水通路４１とする角筒状のものであり、その平坦
な一側面を加圧面４２とし、これを加圧部材２４の加圧
面３１と面一とするように溝３２に挿入されている。高
周波コイル２７の加圧面４２には突条４３が形成されて
おり、これは、第１図に示すように、高周波コイル２７
の２つの真直部２５．２５の両端近くの４か所にそれぞ
れ存在し、これら突条４３は、シールに際しては、第６
図に示すように、チューブ両縁部をそれぞれ強圧するこ
とになる。
第６図を参照して、突条４３の具体的な大きさを一例と
して、数字を挙げて示すと、チューブＴの幅ｇが１０２
ｍｍであり、包装材料の厚みｔが０．４龍であるときに
、突条４３の長さしは１０關であり、隣り合う突条４３
の間隔Ｐは８８龍である。さらに、第３図を参照すると
、突条４３の幅Ｂは０．６＋＋＋＋ｅであり、高さＨは
０．２ｍ＋ｓである。また、突条４３の横断面輪郭は円
弧状となされており、その円弧の半径Ｒは０．３２５＋
ａｍである。
上記突条４３の具体例に限定されることなく、６　ｍｍ
≦Ｌ≦１２ｍ１１．０．　２ｕｕ＋＋≦ｔ≦０．５ｍｍ
の範囲で変更可能である。また、包装材料の厚みｔに対
して、０．８ｔ≦Ｂ≦２ｔ、０．０２ｔ≦Ｈ≦０．０８
ｔの範囲で変更可能である。
磁性体２８は、第２図に示すように、コイル２７の奥行
き方向の一寸法に等しい幅Ｍと、これのほぼ５分の１程
度の厚みＮをもつ横断面方形状のものである。
つぎに、第７図および第８図を参照して、磁性体２８の
作用について説明すると、第７図のように、磁性体２８
が用いられていない場合、コイル２７から発生する磁力
線Ｇは滑らかな楕円を幾つも重ねたように拡がり、コイ
ル２７の外側にも拡散する。ところが、第８図に示すよ
うに、コイル２７の外側に磁性体２８が存在すると、コ
イル２７の外側へ拡散しようとする磁力線Ｇは磁性体２
８の方向、すなわち内向きに屈折され、磁性体２８の外
側へは拡散されなくなる。そのため、第８図に矢印Ａで
示す包装材料のコイル２７より外側の部分は加熱され難
くなる。そのため、第９図に示すように、シールの後、
切断予定部４５の両側にはシール部４６かそれぞれてき
るが、シール部４６の容器内側となる縁部４７に余分な
溶融ポリエチレンのビードはできない。
発明の効果 この発明によれば、２つの真直部から発生する磁力線が
２つの真直部の外側に拡散されようとしても、磁性体に
より内向きに屈折されるから、包装材料のコイルより外
側の部分、すなわちシール部の容器内側となる縁部が不
必要な温度まで加熱されることが防止される。
さらに、チューブの両縁部のみが局部的に強圧されるか
ら、シール不良か生じ易いチューブの両縁部は確実にシ
ールすることができ、チューブの中央部において包装材
料の紙層が割れるということを防止できる。
さらに、局部的強圧部、すなわちチューブ両縁部におい
て包装材料の紙層が破れる二ともないから、シール部全
体を確実にシールすることかできる。

いずれも磁性体の作用を説明するための説明図、第９図
はこの発明による装置によりシールされた包装材料の破
砕断面を含む斜視図である。 第１０図は従来の装置によりシールされた包装材料の破
砕断面を含む斜視図である。 ２３、２４・・・加圧部材、２５．２６・・・真直部、
２７・・・コイル、２８・・・磁性体、３１・・・加圧
面、４３・・・突条、Ｔ・・・チューブ状包装材料。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 　一対の加圧部材２３、２４の一方の加圧面３１に、ア
    ルミニウム箔層１４を有するヒートシール性紙主体積層
    体製チューブ状包装材料Ｔの横断状切断予定部の両側を
    、これらにそってそれぞれ加熱するための互いに平行に
    のびた２つの真直部２５、２６を有するＵ字状高周波コ
    イル２７が備わっている、チューブ状包装材料のヒート
    シール装置において、 ２つの真直部２５、２６のそれぞれ外側に、これらのほ
    ぼ全長にわたってのびた２つの帯状磁性体２８が配置さ
    れ、 ２つの真直部２５、２６の全長のうち、チューブＴの両
    縁部をそれぞれ強圧すべき４か所に、真直部２５、２６
    の長さ方向にのびた突条４３がそれぞれ設けられ、突条
    ４３の横断面輪郭が円弧状となされていることを特徴と
    する、チューブ状包装材料のヒートシール装置。
