Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は、チヤンネル材の端部を相互に交差状
態で直接的に結合するためのものに関する。 [従来の技術] チヤンネル材を結合するための結合構造は種々
提案されている。本出願人の実願昭61−140851号
及び同140852号には、溝と断面台形状の中空部と
を長手方向側面に有するチヤンネル材専用の端部
結合構造に係るものである。この結合具には、側
面への取付面板と端面への閉塞面板とを備え、取
付面板には溝から係入してロツクする抜け止め部
材が設けられている。 [考案が解決しようとする課題] いずれもチヤンネル材側面からの偏荷重に対し
ては、チヤンネル材の側面溝から中空部への抜け
止め部材の係止力に依存しているので、大きな偏
荷重が掛る家具類には設計上不安を避けられない
ものである。この場合には、抜け止め部材の戻り
による緩み発生も考慮する必要がある。 また、通常、チヤンネル材は押出材を切断して
形成されるので、端部にはエツジが存在してい
る。端部を交差突合状態で組立する場合には、一
方チヤンネル材端部のエツジが表出するうえ、他
方チヤンネル材端部のエツジが一方チヤンネル材
側面に当接し損傷等を発生させる危険性が避けら
れないものであつた。この場合に、実公昭52−
17950号の足場材の継手では、端部を突合せた組
付構造が得られないばかりか、組付された突子に
対して長い足場材の端部を同一線上に狂いなく正
確な挿入位置にセツトすることが困難で、作業性
が悪いものでもあつた。 さらに、叙述のチヤンネル材には、側面台形中
空部のほかに、中央にも中空部があるので、これ
ら中空部を有効利用して結合力を高めることが望
まれるものであつた。 而して、本考案は複数の中空部を有するチヤン
ネル材であれば容易に結合することができるよう
にすることを、その目的とするものである。 [課題を解決するための手段] 上記課題を解決するための本考案は、中央の中
央の中空部と断面略台形状を呈して側面長手方向
に溝部を有する中空部とを備えるチヤンネル材端
部を交差突合状態で結合するためのものであっ
て、L字形に一体連設されてチャンネル材端部を
それぞれ閉塞する取付面板を備え、一方の取付面
板の内側と他方の取付面板の外側とには、側面中
空部に挿入される挿入杆と中央中空部に挿入され
る補強杆とがそれぞれ突設され、上記挿入杆は断
面台形状を呈して補強杆よりも長く形成されると
ともにチヤンネル材へ固定するねじ孔が設けられ
ている構成にある。 [作用] 一方の取付面板の内側を一方のチヤンネル材の
端部に接近させ、側面中空部に挿入杆を挿入する
とともに、中央中空部に補強杆を挿入する。その
後に、挿入杆のねじ孔からチヤンネル材をねじ止
め固定する。この補強結合状態で、一方のチヤン
ネル材側面には他方の取付面部が接触している。 同様に、他方の取付面板に他方のチヤンネル材
を接近させ、挿入杆と補強杆とを側面中空部と中
央中空部とに挿入し、ねじ止め固定する。一方チ
ヤンネル材の端部は一方の取付面板で覆われ、他
方のチヤンネル材の端部は他方の取付面板で覆わ
れた状態で一方のチヤンネル材に補強結合されて
いる。 [実施例] 以下に本考案の一実施例を第1図乃至第5図に
基づき説明する。 結合構造は、複数の中空部が並設された一方の
チヤンネル材2を同様な他方のチヤンネル材1に
結合するものである。 前記チヤンネル材1,としては、中央に位置
する断面方形の角筒部7と、該角筒部7の各角部
8から外方へ放射状に延設した平板状の延設部9
……と、該延設部9……から延設したL字状部1
0……とから構成したものを用いることができ
る。上記角筒部7の周囲には、断面台形状の四個
の空間11……が形成され、各空間11は溝部1
2によつて外部に開放されている。前記空間11
が側面中空部3として構成され、前記角筒部7の
内部空間が中央中空部5として構成される。 次に、前記チヤンネル材1,を結合する取付
板15は、例えば、L字状に連設された取付面板
16,17によつて構成できる。一方の取付面板
17の内側と他方の取付面板16の外側とには挿
入杆4を突設することができる。上記挿入杆4
は、例えば上記チヤンネル材1の側面中空部3に
挿入できるように断面台形の柱状に構成されてい
る。この場合、上記挿入杆4は側面中空部3に挿
入された状態でチヤンネル材1,に結合される
もので、このために、該挿入杆4にはねじ孔1
8,18が形成されるとともにチヤンネル材1,
2の角筒部7にはこれらねじ孔18,18に連通
するねじ孔19,19が形成されている。上記ね
じ孔18,18,19,19に螺着されるねじ2
0,20によつて上記挿入杆4は上記チヤンネル
材1,に結合されるものである。上記挿入杆4
には上記溝部12に係合する突条21が形成され

挿入させる構成とすることができる。上記補強杆
6は上記挿入杆4より短い円柱状に構成できる。 次に動作について説明する。 予め、一方のチヤンネル材2に一方の取付面板
17を取付けることにより第1図に示す如く組立
てておく。即ち、一方の取付面板17の内側を一
方のチヤンネル材2の端部に接近させ、側面中空
部3に突条21を案内として挿入杆4を挿入す
る。この挿入を案内として中央中空部5に補強杆
6を挿入すれば、座屈などが無い状態で挿入され
る。その後に、ねじ20,20を、挿入杆4のね
じ孔18,18から一方のチヤンネル材のねじ
孔19,19へとねじ止め固定する。この補強結
合状態で、第1図に示すように、一方のチヤンネ
ル材の側面には他方の取付面部16が接触して
いる。 同様に、他方の取付面板16に他方のチヤンネ
ル材1を接近させ、挿入杆4と補強杆6とを側面
中空部3と中央中空部5とに挿入し、ねじ止め固
定する。第2〜3図に示すように、一方チヤンネ
ル材の端部は一方の取付面板17で覆われ、他
方のチヤンネル材1の端部は他方の取付面板16
で覆われた状態となつて一方のチヤンネル材17
の側面に補強結合されている。 而して、例えば、第5図に示す如く、チヤンネ
ル材1が上方から偏荷重Fを受けたとしても、当
該偏荷重Fは挿入杆4及び補強杆6の双方によつ
て支えることができるため、チヤンネル材1,
は強固に結合される。 又、第6図は第2実施例を示す。 本実施例の特徴は、取付面板16,17に直交
する他の取付面板22を設けると共に該取付面板
22に挿入杆4及び補強杆6を突設したことにあ
る。 これにより、他の一方からも同様な構造の他の
チヤンネル材23を取付けることができる。 [考案の効果] 以上説明した如く本考案によれば、以下の効果
を奏する。 L字形に一体連設された一方の取付面板の内
側と他方の取付面板の外側とには挿入杆と補強
杆とをそれぞれ突設し、上記挿入杆を断面台形
状を呈して補強杆よりも長く形成してねじ孔を
設けているので、L字形の交差突合せ状態にお
いて、チヤンネル材の各端部を各取付面板で覆
つた状態でエツジを表出させることなく結合さ
せることができ、挿入杆と補強杆とによつて偏
荷重等を分散させることができ、美麗で強固な
チヤンネル材端部の交差結合具を実用化するこ
とができた。 又、長い挿入杆を案内としてチヤンネル材の
端部に補強杆を容易に挿入させることができ、
長尺材における組付作業を軽減できる。
