Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable accurate positioning of a specimen by use of an table-- shaped member the front of which has an inclined surface such that a specimen can be positioned to a sensor for urine data analysis by guides provided on the right and left front edges, and by providing a catchall on the front underside edge for the positioning of the vertical line of the specimen. CONSTITUTION:A positioning component 14 for a specimen 13 on the end of slider 12 is engaged with a base plate 11 on the surface in the rear of a toilet bowl 1. Positioning member 14, the upper half having a forked shape, becomes table-shaped at an inclined angle so that the specimen 13 drips naturally, while guides 14-1 are provided on both sides for crosswise direction positioning of the specimen 13 and a pin 14-2 acts as catchall touching the lower end section of the dripping specimen 13. Moreover, optical sensors 14-4 and 14-5 are provided on one side of the front of the part 14 thus making it possible to detect whether the specimen 13 is set correctly or not, and insuring correct alignment of the specimen.

In this prior art, the lower end of a test paper impregnated with a reagent is lowered to the urine pool of the toilet bowl, and the test paper is raised to the position of an analyzer incorporating a sensor (a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element). By shining light on the affected area and measuring the amount of reflected light, specific components in the urine can be analyzed.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) In the conventional example described above, after gripping one end of the test paper with a clamper and bringing it to the analyzer position, the test paper is delivered to the analyzer side and analyzed. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately position the sensor and the test paper. For this purpose, measures are taken such as drilling a hole in the test paper and inserting a positioning member bottle provided in the analyzer into the hole, but in order to match the position of the hole and the pin, it is necessary to grasp the exact position with a clamper. Otherwise, the structure of the clamper itself becomes complicated.

Here, as shown in FIG. 4, the positioning member 14 has a table shape that is inclined at an angle at which the test piece 13 falls naturally, and has a bifurcated upper half, with left and right sides of the test piece 13 on both sides. Positioning guide 1 for directional positioning
4-1, and a pin 14-2 is planted in the lower part as a receiving part against which the lower end of the falling test piece 13 comes into contact, and this pin 142 is used to position the test piece 13 in the vertical direction,
Further, a suction hole 14-3 for sucking out excess urine adhering to the test piece 13 is opened at approximately the same height as the pin 14-2.

Furthermore, two optical sensors 14-4 and 14-5 are provided on one side of the front surface of the positioning member 14, spaced apart in the vertical direction, to detect whether or not the test piece 13 is correctly set. As a detection method, for example, when the test piece 13 is set correctly, the optical sensor 14-4 detects the test piece 13.
When the test piece 13 is set upside down, the optical sensor 14-5 detects the detection hole 13-1 formed in the optical sensor 14-4.14-5. If none of these detect the detection hole 13-1, it is determined that the test piece 13 has been set upside down, and the user is notified of this by some means.

Next, the slider 17 is lowered, and the lower end of the test piece 13, that is, the part to which the filter paper 13-2 is attached, is moved to the urine pool part 1 on the ball surface.
After the slider 17 is raised, the positioning member 14 is advanced, the clamper 18 is released from the clamped state by the operation of the solenoid, and the test piece 13 is dropped onto the positioning member 14. At this time, excess urine adhering to the test piece 13 is sucked out through the suction hole 14-3.

The urine data is analyzed within this dark box. That is, light from a light emitting element housed in the case 15 is irradiated onto the filter paper 13-2 of the test piece 13, which is colored by reacting with components in the urine, and the amount of reflected light is measured by the sensor case 1 as well.
The presence or absence or proportion of each component is analyzed by measuring with a light receiving element housed in the sensor. Then, the analysis results are immediately displayed on the display section 8.

(Effects) As explained above, according to the present invention, the member for positioning the test piece with respect to the urine data analysis sensor is table-shaped, and the front surface of the table-like member is set at an angle at which the test piece naturally falls. The surface is sloped, and guide portions are provided at the left and right ends of the front surface for positioning the test piece in the left and right direction when it slides and falls, and a receiving portion is provided at the lower end of the front surface for positioning the test piece in the vertical direction. As a result, a test piece that has fallen onto the inclined surface of the positioning member is automatically and accurately positioned in the horizontal and vertical directions by the guide section and the receiving section while sliding along the inclined surface.
