Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は、モールドを利用しての車輛用装飾モ
ールの製造方法に関する。
(従来技術) この種のモールの製造方法には、押出成形によ
る方法或いは射出成形による方法がある。
しかし、前者においては、モールドの厚さが、
多くの場合一定であり、したがつて厚さが一定で
ない、例えばテーパ面等を有するモールの成形は
頗る難しいものとなつていた。また後者において
は、前者の場合と異なつて所望の形状のモールが
得られるが、成形品に接着させるべき接着体を予
め金型内に収容しておいた場合には、射出される
樹脂の射出圧により接着体が移動したり、或いは
充分なる接着力が得られない、という欠点があつ
た。
(発明が解決しようとする問題点) 前述したように、上記従来例では、所望の形状
のモールが得られない、接着体が移動する或いは
接着体の充分なる接着力が得られない、という欠
点があつた。
本発明はかかる問題点に鑑み、接着体の接着力
が充分に得られ、しかもモールを所望の形状に成
形し得るモールの製造方法を提供しようというも
のである。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 本発明は上記目的を達成するため、合成樹脂成
形体と金属接着体とが一体的に接合されてなる車
輛用装飾モールの製造方法であつて、予め前記合
成樹脂成形体を形成すべき合成樹脂材料と前記合
成樹脂成形体に接着させるべき金属製接着体とを
モールド内の所定位置に配置した後、誘電加熱に
より前記合成樹脂材料を溶融成形すると同時に前
記金属製接着体を昇温して合成樹脂成形体に金属
製接着体を接着一体化するというものである。
(実施例) 以下図面に示す実施例を参照しながら本発明を
説明すると、第1図に示すように、モールド1の
下型1aの底部にステンレス鋼(SUS)等の金
属からなる光輝物等の接着体2の接着面側に接着
剤を塗布して接着体2をセツトする。次いで第2
図に示すように下型1a内に塩化ビニル等の液状
の樹脂3を注ぎ入れた後、第3図に示すように、
上型1bで蓋をし、型締めを行う。こうして型締
めが終つたならば、誘電加熱により、モールド1
内を加熱し、樹脂3を溶融させるとともに接着体
2を昇温して塗布されている接着剤を硬化または
熱活性化させる。そして所定の時間が経過したな
らば、加熱を止め、樹脂を固化させる。最後に、
上型1bを取外して、接着体2が一体に接着した
成形品を取り出す。
樹脂3としては、高周波特性が良好であるこ
と、コスト面で有利であること及び物性が適当で
あること等の観点からしてポリ塩化ビニル樹脂
(PVC)が好ましい。
また、成形温度としては、樹脂が軟化し、モー
ルド内において付形されること、及び樹脂3と接
着体2とを接着をより強固とするために熱硬化型
または熱活性化型の接着剤を用いる場合には、接
着剤が硬化或いは熱活性化すること、の2点を満
すことが必要であり、これらの観点からして100
〜150℃が適当である。
尚、誘電加熱法としては、特開昭57−170727号
公報に記載された方法等が用いられる。
第4図は、こうして得られた成形品、即ちモー
ル4を示すものであり、5は固化した樹脂からな
る成形物である。
モールとしては、第4図の外、第5図a〜dに
示すような形状のものも成形可能である。同図に
おいて、6はモール4の取付面に取付けられた芯
金、7はT字状のスタツト、8はクリツプであ
り、同図cの場合は芯金6が成形物5から露出し
ており、同図dは予めクリツプ8が取付けられた
芯金6をモールド1内に収容した後、樹脂を溶
融・固化させることによつて得られたモールを示
すものである。
尚、上記においては、モールド1内に液状の樹
脂が充填されるが、この樹脂の代りにモールド1
によつて画成されるキヤビテイとほぼ同一形状の
固形素材を用いてもよい。モールド1としては、
シリコンゴムが好ましい。この理由は、シリコン
ゴムの場合、離型性に優れ、安価であり、かつ製
作期間も短い、ことにある。
(効果) 本発明は、以上から明らかなように、成形すべ
き素材をモールド内に収容するため、接着体に射
出圧のような多きな圧力が作用せず、この結果、
従来例の如く、接着体が設定位置からずれること
がない。
またモールド内部を誘電加熱するため、接着体
の温度も上昇することになり、したがつて成形物
に対する充分な接着力が得られることになる。
これは、熱硬化型接着剤や熱活性化型接着剤の
使用が可能になるからである。しかも内部加熱で
あるため、厚内製品(例えば肉厚5〜10mm)の成
形も可能になる。

  1. 1 合成樹脂成形体と金属接着体とが一体的に接
    合されてなる車輛用装飾モールの製造方法であつ
