ールジヨイント部に用いられるダストカバーに関
する。

ルール103に一方の口縁部104が嵌合される

シヨンロアアーム108の取付座部109に嵌着
されている。上記フエルール103に嵌合される
ダストカバー本体105の口縁部104にはフエ
ルール103に密接するリツプ104aが設けら
れていて、フエルール103と口縁部104との
間を密封している。フエルール103はボールス
タツド102に嵌着する筒状部110と、筒状部
110の上下端から半径方向外方に直角に張り出
す上端フランジ111と下端フランジ112とに
よつて断面コ字状に形成されていて、上端フラン
ジ111がナツクルアーム101に水密に面接触
すると共に、筒状部110内周がボールスタツド
102に水密に嵌着されていた。

して筒状部110とボールスタツド102の間の
シール不良を招き、ダストカバー本体105内部
に水等が浸入するという問題が生じる。

ールされる。本実施例ではシール部材8に3重に
環状突起8a,…を設けているので、環状突起8
a部分のシール面圧が大きくなり、シール性能が
高い。このシール部材8はボールスタツド4に固
定したフエルール5に設けてあるため、ダストカ
バー本体7が回転したり撓んだりした場合でも動
かず、いわゆるガスケツトとして機能する。
