(Prior Art) A conventional terminal block is shown in FIG. 10.
This is made by attaching the terminal fittings a shown in FIG. 9 to fitting holes c and c' provided in each section of the insulating base b. The terminal fitting a is made by bending a conductive thin plate to form a top plate d, side plates e and f, and terminal legs g, and a circular tube h is integrally provided on the top plate d, and a female screw i is screwed into the side plate. Serrated edges on both sides of e and f
It is made up of the following. Then, insert the side plate f and the terminal leg g into the metal fitting hole c', and press-fit each sawtooth j into the inner wall surface of the metal fitting hole c, c' to fix each terminal metal fitting a in each section. Female thread i of pipe h
A metal male screw k for connection is screwed into the connector.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) In the case of the conventional terminal fitting a, three parts, the top plate d and the side plates e and f, must be formed from wide conductive thin plates, resulting in high material costs. Moreover, it requires bending of the side plates e and f and drawing of the circular tube h, which requires a large number of steps and is expensive. Also, the side plate f
It is almost impossible to precisely bend the material at the specified dimensional position, and there is usually a tolerance range of 0.3 mm forward and backward, for example. For this reason, it is necessary to form the metal fitting mounting hole c' with a considerable amount of play compared to the wall thickness of the terminal metal fitting a, and it is not possible to stably mount the side plate f in an accurate position via the sawtooth j. Further sawtooth
When fixing by press-fitting, if the male screw k is strongly tightened, play may occur in the terminal fitting a, and if a large number of terminal fittings a are press-fitted, the bottom of the insulating base b will be There is a risk that it will warp a little and create a gap between it and the printed circuit board or chassis to which it is attached. Furthermore, in the conventional example, the terminal fitting a is screwed into the circular tube h, and the male metal screw k is screwed into the female screw i, that is, the male metal screw k is screwed only into the female metal screw, so vibrations are generated in the terminal block. When an impact occurs, the vibration force and impact force applied from the female thread i to the male thread k are large, and there is a risk that the male thread k may loosen, so a spring washer l is used.

That is, the terminal fitting 4 having the connection part 4a on the upper part is formed of a conductive flat plate 1 consisting of one piece, and the conductive flat plate 1
A groove 3 for inserting the male screw 2 made of metal is provided in the insulating base 5 made of plastic, and a hole 8 for inserting the male screw 2 in each section 6 of the plastic insulating base 5 is provided, and each section 6 is provided with an insert metal fitting. By simultaneous molding, the conductive flat plate 1 is embedded and fixed, the insertion groove 3 and the insertion hole 8 are communicated, and the male screw 2 is inserted into the insertion groove 3.
The screw 2 is screwed into the groove forming surface 3' of the insertion groove 3 and the inner wall surface 8' of the insertion hole 8 by being screwed in from one end in a direction parallel to the surface of the conductive flat plate 1. It is something.

In the above embodiment, one terminal fitting 4 was manufactured, but as shown in FIG. 7, a large number of terminal fittings 4,
The terminal legs 11 of 4, 4, . . . may be provided integrally with the connecting strip 7 at regular intervals. The material and structure of the individual terminal fittings 4 in this case are the same as in the case of making one terminal fitting at a time, and the entire terminal fitting 4 is punched out using a press. In the figure, 7' indicates the automatic feed hole of the press. It is. Then, as shown in Fig. 8, the terminal fittings 4, 4, 4... are embedded and fixed as insert fittings into the insulating base 5 by simultaneous molding, and then the terminal legs 1
1, 11, 11... The lower end is cut, and in the case of a terminal block with a large number of terminal fittings,
Terminal blocks can be easily, quickly, and inexpensively manufactured.

(Effects of the invention) The terminal fitting used in this invention does not require parts corresponding to the top plate d and one side plate e of the conventional example, resulting in lower material costs, fewer manufacturing steps, and lower cost. Therefore, the terminal block itself can be provided at low cost. In addition, the conductive flat plate used in this invention is embedded and fixed as an insert fitting into the insulating base by simultaneous molding, so the terminal fitting can be installed in an accurate position extremely reliably, and the male screw can be inserted into the insertion groove. Even when screwed in, there is no risk of play in the terminal fitting, and unlike conventional press-fit types, there is no risk of deformation such as the bottom surface of the terminal block becoming warped. Furthermore, in this invention, the male screw is made of metal, the insulating base is made of plastic, and the male screw is screwed into both the insertion hole of the plastic and the insertion groove of the terminal fitting, so there is no vibration to the terminal block. Even if an impact occurs, the vibration force applied from the plastic female screw to the metal screw,
The impact force is smaller than the conventional case from a metal-only female thread to a metal male thread, and there is almost no risk of the metal male thread coming loose, and there is no need for a spring washer. Since the internal thread is inserted, the internal thread will not be damaged, and it is strong and can withstand use over time.

(Effects of the Example) When the terminal legs 11 are formed as in the example, the following effects are obtained when compared with the conventional example. 10th
As shown in the figure, when the conventional example is soldered to the printed circuit board 15, there is a large play in the fitting mounting hole c', and the solder 17 flows into this, causing the base b to burn and be damaged. Since the metal fitting 4 is simultaneously molded as an insert metal fitting, the 4th and 5th
As shown in the figure, there is no gap between the front and rear of the extending portion 10, so there is no risk of solder flowing in, and the base will not be damaged.

In addition, as shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 4, the terminal leg 1
Comparing the case where 1 is formed long and bent at right angles with the conventional example, the following effects are obtained. 10th
As shown in the figure, in the case of the conventional example, there is no choice but to provide a large amount of play in the fitting mounting hole c', so if you try to bend the terminal leg g at a right angle after attaching the terminal fitting a to the base b, the chain line Moreover, each terminal leg g is bent at an irregular angle, making it difficult to insert into the hole of the printed circuit board, making it unstable and inaccurate. On the other hand, in this embodiment, the terminal leg 11 can be accurately bent as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 4, and can be reliably attached to the hole 15' of the printed circuit board 15.
