Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly absorb vibration by straightly connecting respective outside cylinders in at least three mount members, and also by fitting the inside cylinder of the mount member at one end to an engine, and the inside cylinders of another mount members to a vehicle body respectively. CONSTITUTION:To suspend an engine 7 on a vehicle body 8, out of a plurality of engine-side members 9 and vehicle-side brackets 10, three mount members 11 to 13 are connected to one side, and one mount member 14 is connected to the other side. And three mount members 11 to 13 are arranged at a prescribed intervals m, n to each other, and also respective outside cylinders 15 to 17 are straightly connected by connecting rods 18. And respective inside cylinders 20 to 22 are suspended by mount rubbers 19 which have been horizontally provided in the inside centers of respective outside cylinders 15 to 17. Further, the inside cylinder 20 in the end mount member 11 is connected to the engine-side member 9, and the inside cylinders 21, 22 in the remaining two mount members 12, 13 are fitted to the vehicle-side brackets 10 respectively.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, vibrations caused by sudden forces during operation of an engine mounted on a vehicle have been reduced by an engine mount device that attaches the engine body via a mount member. As shown in FIG. 6, the mount member has an inner cylinder 3 suspended from a mount rubber 2 inside an outer cylinder l, and as shown in FIG. The inner cylinder 3 is attached to the vehicle body side bracket 5.

Further, the mount member has a hollowed out portion 6 (see FIG. 6) formed on one side of the inner cylinder 3 at the lower side to facilitate deformation of the mount rubber 2 on which the central inner cylinder 3 is suspended. Therefore, when the engine operates and vibrations occur, a load is applied to the inner cylinder 3 through the mount rubber 2, and the mount rubber 2 deforms and the position of the inner cylinder 3 is displaced, so the vibrations caused by the engine are absorbed and the vehicle body The vibrations transmitted to the vehicle are reduced, which improves ride comfort. FIG. 7 shows the spring characteristics showing internal displacement due to load.

(Issue 8 to be solved by the invention) However, when a strong load is applied to the above engine mount device due to sudden acceleration or deceleration of the engine, the inner cylinder 3 deforms the hollow portion 6 and collides with the upper or lower mount rubber 2. (Point A in Fig. 7) However, after that, the shock absorption power suddenly changes, which makes the ride uncomfortable.

As shown in FIG. 1, in order to suspend the engine 7 on the vehicle body 8, three mount members 11, 12, and 13 are provided between the engine side member 9 and the vehicle body side bracket 10, one of which is connected to the other. The other one is pivotally supported by a mount member 14. As shown in FIG.
, 17 are connected to a connecting rod 18 in a straight line. Moreover, the inner cylinders 2G, 21.22 are suspended at the center of each of the outer cylinders 15, 18, 17 by a mount rubber 18 attached in a substantially horizontal direction. Note that stopper rubbers 23 are baked onto the inner peripheral surfaces of the outer cylinder above and below the mount rubber 18, and have clearances of 2 and 3, respectively.

In the engine mount device configured as described above, when a load is applied in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 1 due to the operation of the engine 7, the connecting rod 18 tilts to follow the load. In this case, when a downward load is applied, as shown in FIG. 4, the connecting rod 18 moves downward to the left in the drawing, and the center of rotation C is to the right of the position of the central mount member 12. Moreover, as the connecting rod 18 inclines, each clearance Kl

The displacement of 22 changes, resulting in a spring characteristic as shown in FIG. Clearance between 0 and P is K1 * K2 to 3
The spring constant is large due to this influence, but after the second point, the mount rubber 13 and the stopper rubber 23 come into contact with or are pressed, so the spring constant becomes small.
