溝１０を外方より覆うので、凹溝１０とバンパバ
ー４の側端部４ａとの間に空間ができ、また、側
端部４ａの側端面４ｂには幅広のフランジを加工
上成型できないので、あまり外観が良くない。ま
た、この側端部４ａの上部と下部の縁と、同縁に
それぞれ対面する上記凹溝１０の対向面、１１，
１２との間の隙間６，６ａにホイール７からの泥
が入り込んで、これが洗車してもあまりよく取れ

側端面４ｂには取付穴４ｃが形成され、これに対
応する位置のバンパカバー８の部分にも取付穴８
ｂが形成されている。したがつて、バンパカバー
８の突起部８ａをバンパバー側端部４ａの上部と
対向面１１との間の隙間６に挿入し、取付穴８ｂ
をバンパ側の取付穴４ｃに位置合わせしてクリツ
プ９を差し込めば、バンパカバー８のバンパバー
側端部４ｂへの取り付けが完了する。この取り付
けは、クリツプ９の代りにビス等を利用してもよ
く、抜け止め防止の突起を設けて嵌め込むように
