To moor a ship to a quay, as shown in the plan view of Figure 1, the ship 1 on the water surface 2 is moored with multiple mooring lines 4.
A plurality of fenders 5 are protruded from the quay 3 at appropriate intervals and serve as a buffer between the ship 1 and the quay 3.

However, such conventional mooring methods
While the wind and waves are small, it is possible to pull the ship 1 to the quay 3 and keep it moored there, but in stormy weather with large winds and waves, the external force that acts to move the ship 1 away from the quay 3 increases. Therefore, it becomes impossible to sail safely, and accidents such as breakage of mooring ropes 4 occur.

This is because the moored ship 1 generally sways due to external forces such as waves or wind, and the mooring lines 4
As shown in the second diagram, tension 6 acts, and this tension 6 has a waveform in which the average force is a steady force 7 mainly based on wind pressure, and fluctuating components based on fluctuating external forces due to waves and wind are superimposed on this. As shown, the mooring line 4 will be stretched by the tension force 6 acting on the mooring line 4, but on average the ship 1 will be stretched by the amount of the steady force 7 acting on it.
is due to moving away from quay 3.

Since it is undesirable for the ship 1 to be too far away from the quay 3 from the viewpoint of safety and cargo handling, it is necessary to increase the spring constant of the mooring line 4 in order to keep the ship 1 close to the quay 3.

However, even if a mooring line 4 with a large spring constant is used, not only is it not possible to suppress the movement of the ship 1 due to waves, but the tension 6 of the mooring line becomes abnormally large, and the mooring line 4 easily breaks. Loads and vessels 1

For this reason, the conventional method has a distance of 1 m at most.
In some cases, cargo handling operations may have to be suspended due to low wave heights, and especially in ports where swells from the open ocean are likely to enter, the number of operating days of port facilities per year is severely limited.

To this end, the present invention provides a first arm member that is provided at an appropriate distance in the longitudinal direction of the quay, whose base end is pivotally connected to the quay, and extends substantially parallel to the water surface, and a distal end of the first arm member. a pair of front and rear foldable vertical arm members each consisting of a second arm member whose one end is pivotally connected and extends substantially parallel to the water surface;
A floating body which is pivotally attached to the tips of the arm members and floats on the water surface, a propulsion device attached to each of the floating bodies, a fender protruding from each of the floating bodies, and each pivot joint of each of the vertical arm members, respectively. A plurality of attached driving means are provided to vary the angle between adjacent members, and the vessel is moored along the quay by abutting each of the floating bodies on the opposite side of the quay at the bow and stern of the vessel, respectively. It is characterized by the following.

In such a state, if the unberthing force that causes the ship 1 to move away from the quay 3 becomes large, the ship moves the propeller 16 to generate thrust on the floating body 9 to counter the unberthing force. Push 1 to the quay 3 side.

In this way, the tension acting on the mooring line 4 can be reduced, preventing an accident in which the mooring line 4 breaks, and at the same time preventing the ship 1 from moving too far away from the quay 3, making cargo handling operations more rough. It will be possible to safely and reliably monitor sea and weather conditions, significantly increasing the operating rate of port facilities.
