Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform sharper X-ray photographing by moving an X-ray generator and a film cassette holder so as not only to accurately detect the position of the dental root part of a person to be photographed but also to parallely move both of them forwardly and rearwardly according to an oval track corresponding to each pattern of the shape of the dental arch of the person to be photographed and the position of the dental root where the oval track is detected. CONSTITUTION:Two motors 13, 16 are composed of stepping motors and can be freely set in rotary angular velocity or rotational speed and an X-ray generator 22 and a cassette holder 23 can be moved on the oval track similar to the dental arch of a patient to be photographed. Further, the light track 54 drawn by the beam projected from a beam generator 34 is allowed to be incident to the macrodont 53 where the dental roots of the anterior teeth of the person to be photographed are positioned to detect the positions of the dental roots of the anterior teeth and the oval tracks drawn by the X-ray detector 22 and the cassette holder 23 can be moved parallelly in forward and rearward directions and the X-ray photograph wherein a tomographic region is matched with each dental root part of the dental arch of the person to be photographed is always obtained.

ングモータにより水平回転させられるアームを備え、 （ｃ）前記スライダに固定したナットが、ヘッドケース
内に固定した前後進用ステッピングモータにより駆動さ
れる前後方向の送りねじに螺合し、同ステッピングモー
タの正逆回転によりスライダが前後方向に移動させられ
るようにし、（ｄ）また、ヘッドケース支持体へ水平に
設けられた顎受け用テーブルに光ビーム発生器を設け、
（ｅ）前記光ビーム発生器を前後方向に移動させる水平
移動装置と、当該水平移動装置と連動して前記光ビーム
発生器の移動量を検出する移動量検出装置を備えること
