(Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to a core molding apparatus (core mold ). (Prior Art) Conventionally, there have been core molding apparatuses as described above, such as those shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, for example. A core molding device 1100 in the figure is for molding cores used when casting engine cylinder blocks, and includes an upper mold 1o1, a lower mold 102, and side molds 103 and 10.
3 forms a cavity 104 that corresponds to the state in which the cylinder block is turned upside down. A welding core 105 is provided within the cavity 104 for shaping the bearing portion of the crankshaft. This joining core 10
5 is used for the purpose of facilitating mold cutting in order to accommodate the complicated shape of the cylinder block, and creates a hollow state by combining a pair of left and right blocks 105a, 105a. Further, the upper mold 101 is provided with a filling port 101a for kneading sand and hardening gas, and the lower mold 102 has air vents 102a and 102b communicating downward from the tip of the cylinder portion and the crankcase portion. It has an impressive shape. The above core molding apparatus 100 first attaches a nozzle of a blow head (not shown) to the filling port 101a of the upper mold 101,
Mixed sand 106 is blown into the cavity 104 together with pressurized air to fill it. After this, the blow head is removed and the gassing head 107 is attached to the upper mold 101,
Attach the exhaust box 108 to the lower mold 102. The gassing head 107 is provided with an adjustment pin 109 that is inserted into the filling port 101a. After injecting a hardening gas into the cavity 104 to harden the mixed wire sand 106, the molds 101 to 103 are separated.
A core equipped with a mating core 105 is obtained. (Problem 8 to be solved by the invention) However, the conventional core molding apparatus 10 as described above
0, when filling the kneaded sand 106 with pressurized air, the joint between the blocks 105a, 105a and the lower mold 10
The air pressure inside the joining core 105 increases through the gap between the joining core 105 and the joining core 105. Therefore, when the pressurization is stopped after filling is completed, the air inside the joining core 105 blows out as the pressure inside the cavity 104 decreases, causing a sand clogging failure (No. (indicated by symbol A in the figure) may occur. In addition, the conventional core molding device 100 is
Air vent 10 that communicates downward from the crankcase part
2b, the curing gas naturally escapes from this air vent 102b, and curing failure (indicated by symbol B in FIG. 9) may occur at the tip of the cylinder portion due to lack of gas. Therefore, conventional core molding devices have had problems in preventing cores from forming poorly. (Purpose of the Invention) This invention was made by paying attention to the conventional problems as described above, and in a core molding apparatus using a cold box method using a hollow welding core, The purpose of the present invention is to provide a core molding device that can prevent core molding defects such as sand clogging and curing defects caused by lack of gas.

(Means for Solving the Problems) A core molding apparatus according to the present invention includes a bonding core that is hollow as a part of the core in a cavity into which mixed sand is blown and filled, and the upper part of the cavity is shaped. In a core molding apparatus in which a gassing head for filling hardening gas of the kneaded sand is removably attached to an upper mold, one end thereof is in communication with the inside of the bonded core so that gas can flow therethrough, and the gashing head is connected to the upper mold. It has a structure in which a flow path is provided within the gassing head when the gassing head is installed, and the other end communicates with the gashing head. This is a means to solve the conventional problems. In the case of the above structure, one end of the flow path that allows gas to flow to and from the welding core may be opened directly into the welding core, or at the joint of the welding core itself or in gaps between it and other parts. Sometimes it is opened towards the target. (Function of the Invention) The core molding device according to the present invention suppresses the pressure increase in the welding core by discharging the air that has entered the welding core to the outside from the flow path when blowing and filling mixed wire sand. This prevents air from blowing out from inside the bonding core into the cavity after the pressurization is stopped after filling is completed. Further, when the hardening gas is injected, the hardening gas is also injected from the flow path through the joining core, so that a sufficient amount of hardening gas is supplied into the cavity. (Example) This invention will be explained below based on the drawings. 1 to 4 are diagrams for explaining one embodiment of the present invention. That is, the core molding equipment ILL in the figure is for molding a core used when casting a cylinder block for an engine, and includes an upper mold 2, a lower mold 3, and a pair of side molds 4, 4.
This forms a cavity 5 that corresponds to the cylinder block being turned upside down. Inside the cavity 5, a joining core 6 is provided as a part of the core to shape the bearing part of the crankshaft. This joining core 6
By combining a pair of left and right blocks 6a, 6a, the mold is constructed into a substantially U-shaped cross section with a downward opening, creating a hollow state between the lower mold 3 and the side mold 4.4. The upper mold 2 has a plurality of filling ports 2a for kneading sand and hardening gas, and has a plurality of protrusions 2b on its lower surface that reach the upper surface of the joining core 6. A channel 7 is formed on the axis of the protrusion 2b and communicates with the upper and lower sides. This results in
The flow path 7 has one end (lower end) of the block 6a,
The gas is communicated with the inside of the joining core 6 through the joint 8 of 6a, and the other end (upper end) opens on the upper surface of the upper die 2 and communicates with the inside of the gassing head to be described later. Further, the lower mold 3 is formed with an air vent 3a that communicates with the lower surface of the lower mold 3 from the tip of the cylinder portion. Note that a certain filter made of mesh or the like is provided at the end of the air vent 3a on the cavity 5 side, so that only gas can flow therethrough. Next, the operation of the core molding apparatus 1 will be explained together with the core molding process. After combining each mold 2 to 4 and the joining core 6, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a blow head 11 is placed on the upper mold 2.
Attach. The blow head 11 is provided with a nozzle lla inserted into each filling port 2a, and is mounted with an appropriate distance between it and the upper surface of the upper mold 2. Then, from the blow head 11, a certain kneaded sand (for example, as shown in FIG. 3) 10 made of silica sand and a binder is blown into the cavity 5 together with pressurized air. At this time,
Air within the cavity 5 is exhausted from the air vent 3a. In addition, air will enter into the joining core 6 from the joint 8 between the blocks 6a, 6a or the gap 9 between the block 6a and the lower mold 3, but this air will be discharged to the upper side of the upper mold 2 through the flow path 7. It will be done. Therefore, an increase in the pressure inside the welding core 6 is prevented, so that when the pressure inside the cavity 5 returns to atmospheric pressure after the filling of the kneaded sand 10 is completed, air will not blow out from inside the welding core 6. There is no risk of sand clogging caused by the sand being pushed away by the ejected air. After the above operation, the blow head 11 is removed, and as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the gassing head 12 is attached to the upper surface of the upper mold 2, and an exhaust box is attached to the lower surface of the lower mold 3. Attach 13. The gassing head 12 and the exhaust box 13 open toward the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 3, and are tightly attached to the respective molds 2 and 3 to prevent gas leakage. As a result, the flow path 7 is connected to the gassing head 1.
The air vent 3a communicates with the inside of the exhaust box 13. Further, the gassing head 12 is provided with an adjustment bottle 15 inserted into each filling port 2a to control the gas flow rate, on a plate 14 that can be moved up and down inside the gassing head 12. Then, a hardening gas such as amine gas is injected into the cavity 5 from the gassing head 12, and the kneading sand 10 is hardened by a urethane reaction. At this time, the curing gas is
In addition to being injected from the filling port 2a, it is also injected from the flow path 7, and what has passed through the flow path 7 flows out from within the joining core 6 through the joint 8 and the gap 9 into the cavity 5.
Further, the curing gas is sufficiently distributed to the tip of the cylinder portion, and the excess gas is recovered from the air vent 3 & via the exhaust box 13. In this way, a sufficient amount of curing gas is supplied throughout the cavity 5, so that curing failure due to gas shortage does not occur. Furthermore, when the hardening gas is flowing out from inside the joining core 6 as described above, the pressure inside the cavity 5 has naturally increased due to the injection from the filling port 2a, so the seam 8 and the gap 9 are There is no need to worry about sand clogging defects. After the above work, by removing the gassing head 12 and exhaust box 13 and separating each mold 2 to 4,
A core equipped with the joining core 6 is obtained. FIGS. 5 and 6 are diagrams explaining other embodiments of the present invention. Note that the same parts as in the previous embodiment are given the same reference numerals and the explanation will be omitted. The core molding device jl21 in the figure has a part formed in the side mold 4 (2 7 a) and a part formed in the upper mold 2 (2 7 b).
). The flow path 27 is
One end thereof opens directly into the joining core 6, and the other end opens onto the upper surface of the upper mold 2 and communicates with the inside of the gassing head 12 in the installed state. The core molding device 21 described above can obtain the same functions and effects as the core molding device 1 in the previous embodiment. It is also good to use a channel (for example, channel 7 in Figure 1) in combination. Figure wIJ7 is a diagram illustrating still another embodiment of the present invention. The core molding device 31 shown in the figure forms an inverted convex cavity 35 between an upper mold 32 and a lower mold 33. Upper mold 3
2 has a plurality of filling ports 32a, into which the adjusting pins 15 of the gassing head 12 are inserted, centered around a protrusion 32b provided with a flow path 37. Further, the lower mold 33 is formed with air vents 33a and 33b that communicate with the exhaust box 13 from the bottom 35a and the shoulder 35b inside the cavity 35. In addition, as shown by the imaginary line in the figure, a joining core 6 is provided at the bottom of the cavity 35a. In the above-mentioned core molding device 31, the height from the lower end of the filling port 32a to the cavity shoulder 35b is approximately equal to the height from the lower end of the flow path 37 to the cavity bottom 35a, and the height between the shoulder 35b and the bottom 35a is approximately equal. 33b, 33
Since a is provided, the filling efficiency of the curing gas can be further increased. FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating still another embodiment of the present invention. Incidentally, the same parts as those in the above-mentioned embodiment (see FIG. 7) are designated by the same reference numerals, and the explanation thereof will be omitted. The core molding device 41 shown in the figure has a filling port 42a at the center of an upper mold 42 and around it. The plate 14, which can be raised and lowered within the gassing head 12, has an elongated nozzle 16 that forms a flow path 47 and is inserted into the central filling port 42a, and an adjustment pin 1 that is inserted into the surrounding filling port 42a.
5 is provided. The above-mentioned core molding device 41 is equipped with a gunning head 12 so as to pierce the nozzle 16 into the kneaded sand 10.
In this installed state, the height from the lower end of the nozzle 16 to the cavity bottom 35a is approximately equal to the height from the lower end of the surrounding filling opening 42a to the cavity shoulder 35b. As a result, the same operation and effect as in the previous embodiment can be obtained. The size, number, or position of the filling port, air vent, and flow path may be changed as appropriate depending on the configuration of the molded core or bonding core, the injection pressure of the curing gas, etc., in addition to the above-mentioned examples. It is possible.

As explained above, the core molding device of the present invention is
A hollow joining core is provided as part of the core in the cavity into which the kneaded sand is blown and filled, and a gas sink head for filling the kneaded sand with hardening gas is provided in the upper mold forming the upper part of the cavity. In the removable core molding device, a flow path is provided, one end of which communicates with the inside of the bonded core so that gas can flow therethrough, and the other end of which communicates with the gassing head attached to the upper die. Because of this structure, the air inside the bonding core can be exhausted from the flow path when filling with kneaded sand, so it is possible to prevent sand clogging defects that occur near the bonding core after filling is completed, and moreover, the hardening gas Since the gas can also be supplied from the flow path, it is possible to prevent curing defects due to gas shortage, and as a whole, it has the excellent effect of reliably preventing defects in the shape of the core.
