本発明は映像信号を印刷する画像プリンタに関するもの
である
（従来の技術）
従来の画像プリンタは印写用紙を印写位置に移動する場
合なんらかの原因でインクシートが印写用紙と密着して
、不必要に巻き取られたりあるいは巻き戻された場合に
その状態変化を検出しておらず印写用紙を印写位置まで
移動するため該インクシートまたは印写用紙が使用でき
なくなる異常事態が発生していた。また、印写動作中に
おいてもインクシートが巻き戻されて染料塗布開始マー
クが印写動作中に検出されても異常を警告する構成にさ

なるのを防止し、異常を警告する機能をもった画像プリ

なった場合に用紙駆動部の動作を中止し、警告を発生す
るように構成した。また、印写開始時に予め開始位置検
出部が検出していたインクシート開始マークが検出しな
くなるまでインクシートを巻き取り、印写動作中に開始
位置検出部がインクシートの開始マークを検出した場合
に用紙駆動部の動作を中止し警告を発生するように構成

（実施例）
第１図は本発明の画像プリンタの実施例のブロック図で
、１１は印写用紙駆動部、１２はシート巻取部、１３は
インクシート開始マーク検出部、１４は制御部、１５は
警告発生部である。第２図は第１回のＶ＆構構成図であ
り、第１図と同一機能部分は同一符号を使用する。２１
は印写用紙、２２は用紙駆動部内のキャプスタン、２３
はプラテンで、サーマルヘッド２４がインクシート２５
と印写用紙２１を押圧して印写する部分である。第３図
はインクシートを巻き上げたインクカセット３１の外見
図で、インクシート開始マーク検出部１３は開始マーク
３２を検出する。３３はインクシートの染料塗布部分で
サーマルヘッド２４で熱を加えることにより印写用紙に
染料を転写し画像を印写するものである。印写用紙を印
写位置に移動する場合、制御部１４はインクシート開始
マーク検出部１３が開始マーク３２を検出するまでシー
ト巻取部１２を動作させた後、印写用紙２１を印写位置
へ印写用紙駆動部１１内のキャプスタン２２をもって移
動させる。該動作途中に印写用紙２１が水分等の原因で
インクシート２５と密着しインクシートが不要に移動し
その結果インクシート開始マーク検出部１３が開始マー
ク３２を検出できなくなった場合、制御部１４は印写用
紙の駆動を中止し警告発生部１５を制御して異常状態を

プ４７へ移行し印写用紙の移動を中止するとともにステ

ンクシートの開始マークを検出した場合は、ステップ５
７へ移行し印写動作を中止するとともにステップ５８で

以上述べてきたように１本発明によれば、印写用紙を印
写位置へ移動する給紙動作時や、印写動作時にインクシ
ートが異常な巻き取りや巻き戻しが起きても速やかにそ
の異常を判断して動作を中止して警告を発生するため印
写用紙あるいはインクシートが使用不可能な状態になる

用紙に染料を転写するために予め染料を塗布し、該染料
の塗布位置に開始マークを設けたインクシートを巻き上
げたインクカセットと、該インクシートを巻き取るため
のインクシート巻取り部と、前記インクシートに熱を加
えるためのサーマルヘッド部と、インクシートの染料の
塗布開始位置を確認するための開始位置検出部と、該開
始位置検出部の状態に応じて用紙駆動部を制御する制御
部と、異常時に警告を発生する警告部と、印写時に、該
サーマルヘッド部にインクシートをはさんで印写用紙に
押圧させるサーマルヘッド駆動部を具備し、印写動作を
行う前に予め前記開始位置検出部で、インクシートの染
料塗布開始マークを検出するまでインクシートを巻き取
っておき用紙駆動部が印写用紙を印写位置に移動させる
間にインクシートの開始位置検出部が染料塗布開始マー
クの検出ができなくなった場合に印写用紙の移動を中止
